Hopefully those that say KP is no good are right and he doesn't go on to be a starter somewhere else, we'll see.

He won't start this year. Next year is year 4, so he'll probably still be a backup in PHI then too.

So, if he's a starter it won't be for a while.

And by then he'll have the "he's just a backup" tag on him. So he maybe doesn't even get another chance to start outside of injury. Like Mason.

I think most of us thought that he wasn't the right guy to start over Mason at the end of last season. That's not good for his long term career prospects.

How about we tie this to Pickett's performance and not what he is told. This isn't Little League.

Apparently Aditi said that Pickett had a lot of NFC teams interested. They certainly sent him to one where he has no shot to play unless there's an injury.

If it's true he had suitors, tells you what the league thought of how he was handled.

But the Wilson deal was just too good a value to pass up.

Yeeesh, teams should study how the Steelers handled KP to see what NOT to do with a 1st round QB.
