I've read a few articles lately that have said just that. It's a bit ironic though, that the guy that replaces Pickett is known to have quite the attitude and was twice paid a large sum of money to go away.
Back in October, if someone had told me that by March, Mitch Trubisky would be axed, Rudolph would be gone in free agency and Pickett would be traded, I would have told that person he was NUTZ.
What a crazy off season.

No, they don't. But if they don't pick it up, he's a free agent after the season. Maybe let him watch Russ, if they don't keep him give Fields a good 1-year prove it deal.Leave a comment:

I don’t recall saying that but I guess it’s possible. However, it doesn’t sound like something I’d say.Leave a comment:

I said a few days ago I thought Pickett’s attitude at the end of last season may have raised eyebrows within the organization. Obviously it did.
I liked the kid’s moxie and work ethic but it was obvious he didn’t have it. Mason came in from 3 years bench rot and ignited this offense. Maybe it wasn’t all on Canada after all.Leave a comment:

This trade seemed pretty abrupt tbh especially given the team has just 1 QB on the roster now. It also sort of doesn't make sense that the Eagles would be the team giving the best return when you factor in the QB situation currently in the NFC. But maybe idk, like I said I wouldn't be surprised if Eagles end up trading him to another team.Leave a comment:

At least he’s going to his hometown team living out his childhood dream.Leave a comment:

I've been pleasantly surprised with Khan over the past two offseasons. He has been aggressive about filling holes in the roster and while he came from within the organization, it gives me some confidence that he was indeed the best guy for the job and not just the continuity hire with an inside track to the job.Leave a comment:

Kahn is not playing petty politics. His job is on the line if he makes bad choices. KP not having a chance to start has nothing to do with it. I think you nailed it - the interest was not there.Leave a comment:

Same reason I told you at the time
He's the only guy under contract.
And what did Tomlin say. He's QB1. Same as he was when he was benched for Mason.
And word 4 or 5 in that sentence was BUT.
If you were trying to do more than slam the FO, I think you might have seen that more clearly
And now that they took the big swing like you wanted, you slam the messaging (that was clearly part true part ego massaging).
If you hear Wilson talk, it also sounds like there were lots of high profile players lobbying for him to come. I think Kenny lost the faith of the D and the WRs.
Are we really upset for Kenny or because the KEEP MAKING IT SO STINKIN HARD to complain.
I GOT ONE. They didnt do what I said they were gonna do but did what I wanted instead. They DID NOT stay the course and start the QB I don’t want and made that poor baby sad. Instead they are committed to a guy I LIKE instead of a fake competition that (preseason beast) Kenny would win only to start Russ.
