Yep. The book is about closed with the Steelers.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Indeed. He literally gets pancaked onto the back of Rudolph’s legs. Not only is he not an NFL caliber lineman, he’s a liability when on the field. Healthy scratch for every game last season. Why is he on the team?

draft status earns him 2 years .... Time is up unless he proves to be one heck of a fullback and the clock is ticking
@dwinsgames on twitter .... Kenny Pickett is who I thought he was ....

          That and we don't really have a 2nd C.

Watch for cuts. Gotta be a vet that is good enough as a backup.

Draft status and potential generally earns a 3rd round draft pick more than 2 years. The athleticism that Green displays is rare for an interior Olineman. This is one reason why the Steelers hope he develops.

Teams will continue to test and exploit his biggest weakness as a pro until he can develop consistency.

His time will be up when the owner, GM, scouts, and coaches no longer believe in Green as a player.

I believe he is in jeopardy of not making the final 53.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

He’s an enigma. Dude works hard and is one of the first guys on the field every practice while I was there.

He’s lightning quick for his size.

But he stinks as a C.

I think he might be able to play football but not sure he’s gonna figure it out while he’s here.

I think someone will pick him up after he leaves and some new coach might figure out how to help him. There’s still a lot to work with and I get why we drafted him.

Tape is absolutely brutal, looks worse than he did as a rookie. For a 3rd year guy, that's a death sentence. Unless he wants to drop weight and become a FB full time, he'll be out of the league soon.

He's failed, BIG TIME, at OC and OG, for 2 years going on 3. Even Ben said his future wasn't in playing C, said DURING his stint as C.

As a 3rd round pick, you can have worse draft picks I guess (1st or 2nd rounders). It's just that Colbert blew off drafting the best C picks in the entire draft (Humphry), twice, before reaching for Green and THEN was braggadocious about drafting him like a cocky @ss. Not missing that douche.

what on earth did they see in him. Minerz is already a quality player for Denver.

did Mikey have a similar background with KG growing up??
what tape did they watch of him in college? when they played division 3 schools
