Yea, I hear you; you've got to feel for a guy who is absolutely giving it his best shot but just doesn't have it.

Overall, I think Green probably played better this week than last week.

He is definitely on the bubble in regard to if he will make the team.

Friday Night Lights was great, Green had is moment but he can not play Sunday ball. This is nothing new. Practice squad is expanded to 16 this year I'm not sure they would even bring him back for that. Three years now we all know how this story is going to end. Harsh reality of the Not For Long league.

It's not like the Steelers didn't give him more than enough opportunity. Guy just doesn't have what it takes to play big boy ball.

see I don't feel sorry for green at all I feel sorry for those who counted on him to block ...

he was a BOLD rookie who selected number 53 right out of the gate as if to say we wont miss a beat with me in place of Pouncey and to be quite honest he couldnt carry a 3 year post retirement Pounceys jock let alone a Pouncey in his primes jock
@dwinsgames on twitter .... Kenny Pickett is who I thought he was ....

It's time to end the Kendrick Green experiment. Green was a bad 3rd round pick. I felt that better players were on the board than....but the Steelers picked him only to see him not dressing for ANY games in his 2nd season.

Let camp turk do his job and cut him. Also cut Dotson, and Harvin III ( who did not play well last night ) or trade them for something if possible.

We got other players to develop which are younger and playing better.

              END.

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

actually as a Harvin hater I still have to say he played as well as could be expected , sure his punt average wasnt good but you cant just go by the stat line but the situation in which he was punting ... he pinned the Bills inside the 10 all night long ... not sure what else you can ask of the man based on that performance ....

That said I am still not a Harvin fan just an honest viewer that is trying to leave his bias aside ...

No way Dotson is cut , he might be traded to some guard needy team but he wont be cut

I’d try for a conditional draft pick for Green from the Pats*. Klemm is a coach up there.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Who is going to trade for someone who they know will be cut? Green's only chance to be on the team is if he has practice squad eligibility

Happens fairly often I think. Means you don't lose to a waiver claim

                      Particularly for OL.

Because even crappy OL get picked up on waivers. I think we've had some examples over the years of ol we were hoping to stash on the ps that got picked up on waivers.

Green isn't good. But he played in the league for a bit. Might be someone's 8th or 9th ol

Klemm lobbied heavy for Green when he was our OL coach. Let's reunite them.

Klemm is with the Pats* now.

Not a big Harvin fan but you are exactly right. The #1 job of a punter is to maximize opponent starting field position. This can be done a number of ways.

After the game, head coach Mike Tomlin kept it concise when it came to describing how Green performed.

"Not good enough" Tomlin said. "Routine things routinely."
