I know people get upset that he doesn't score TDs, but they get mad that we WIN by 3 points instead of LEADING by seven and giving the opponents the ball back with a $h|t-ton of time left... Why didn't McVay trade for him, would have been a lot cheaper than Stafford and according to you, a huge upgrade over Goff.

Goff's air yards/attempt was 6.6 last year. Ben's AY/A was 6.2 and 6.6 in 2021 and 2020, respectively. Mason's career AY/A is 5.7.

Personally I think TODAY Mason is better than Goff.

Goff definitely had a hot start and was in an offense that is extremely friendly for QB’s. Jimmy G is similar. I don’t see anything special about Jimmy G besides the offense he was in which is why the team is moving on from him.

Both have better resumes but if you put Mason on the Rams or 49ers I think you get the same or even better results because Mason throws a great deep ball.
