I believe the sample size is not enough given the situation to really know...but I know almost 99% of the posters here think he is garbage.
I think he has always said the right things, and has done what he was asked. Even his responses today were very well thought out and he has done nothing but take the high road.

It will not be here, but I am pulling for the kid to go out and do well...I don't want the Steelers to regret it, but I do want nothing but success for Mason.

I also hope he shreds the 3rd teamers on Saturday...and like Burt Reynolds in The Longest yards picks up the football and gives it to Tomlin and says "stick this in your trophy case"

Before all you Tomlin defenders get the vapors...I am kidding (about 90%).
See?? People can delete a video that takes up list real estate and really isn't necessary for the reply...

He’s been a class act and great teammate. I hope he does request a trade and has a real chance to complete.

For whatever reason he was never accepted here. I wish him the best.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

To clarify, Tomlin, a great self promoter but merely a good coach, saw a chance to improve his image and standing. KP8 at #1 did more for both than picking a needed but less glamorous OL or DB. Sure, the Steelers need a Franchise QB but so do all 31 NFL teams. Picking a hometown fave boosts Tomlin's image. If KP8 fails, Tomlin can say "we tried" but doesn't need to. The classic "Either Way Tomlin looks better than he actually is.

Most of these athletes we are debating about are young and rich. Not sure what that has to do with anything. a

I don't understand all the crocodile tears for the guy because a few drunks boo'd him. He's a big boy with a lot going for him.

              A few drunks?

did you watch the game? It was LOUD, it was definitely more than half the stadium.

even Mark Madden said it was classless.. lol.

and its not like be threw a pick 6 or missed a wide open TD. He didn’t do anything wrong which is why it was embarrassing to witness.

I really don't get the idea that there are "crocodile tears"

The same folks who denounce Blount and Harrison's actions as being douchy are ready to defend abhorrent behavior when it suits their narrative.

Being a douche is being a douche whether it's the aforementioned players, a large group of idiot fans, or a coaching unit that promises an open competition and really is a false narrative.

I think folks who are pointing out that MR is acting like a solid guy with class are merely stating just that...

Damned if you do, damned if you don't I guess...

You might as well act like Ingraham cause you will get flamed regardless.

most people defending Mason aren’t even fans of him on here. They just witnessed him being attacked ok a play that wasn’t his fault.

But its like putting all the blame on him for the Lions tie when Muth and DJ fumbled after completions. Damn you Mason for not throwing a less fumbly ball

Of course Muths fumble was Masons fault.

Muth can do nothing wrong Dizz. Don't you know that.

I’ve heard the Steelers want as much as a 3rd round pick for Mason Rudolph. But would probably take a 4th round pick.

That asking price is WAY TOO HIGH.

Cant lie. Mason looked pretty good tonight too.
they moved him in the pocket as well.

maybe Mitch is the guy to shop?

Mitch is going back to Chi-town... Do the Bears have a lineman and some draft picks they can trade??

I am a Pitt alum and I have a bias for KP.

That being said, I think it is only fair that MR gets a shot with the first team.

Unfortunately, 3rd game won't have 1st vs 1st out there.

Anyone saying his YPA was low and it was against 3rd team...same thing could've been said (and was) about KP's performance last week.

I wish Mason well wherever he ends up but in my opinion MT has looked the least impressive.
