I think there is talent there, in a vertical offense. Not in a dink, dank, dunk system.
It's not hate, it's just a realization of who he is. The Steelers told us what they thought of him on the first day of FA and the draft, they should do the honorable thing and trade him.

Booing is a classless act, no ifs, ands, or buts.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

I was only speaking for myself - I don't hate him, nor did I boo him.

I also don't begrudge people paying hundreds to watch players making millions, their right to express their displeasure.

            nah, that IS hate.

People act like Mason went 0-15 as a starter. I think its because a bunch of Pitt fans watched him slice Pitt up 2 years in a row for a gazillion yards.

I’ve been frustrated by him at times but I always get over it and root for the kid. Really odd how much people hate him.

on the first play when the LT whiffed? Why? What are they booing him for?

2 plays later he throws a beautiful TD. It was classless, petty and I loved watching him make the fans eat crow immediately after booing him.

I would’ve flipped the whole stadium off if I was Mason…lol

It wasnt "Displeasure".. it was a bunch of drunkards on Blue Moon and Yeungling expressing their ignorance and stupidity..

Exactly. Paying for a ticket doesn't give you the right to be a jerk to someone. Especially when that someone is just taking the field and hasn't even done anything bad (or good). The guy isn't the future of the franchise, but he's been a good teammate and has done everything asked of him. Let's be respectful for the players, especially our own guys.

What about the 3rd round compensatory pick when he signs a $230M fully guaranteed contract elsewhere?

Mason is young, healthy, and rich. Some of you need to find some new victims to wring your hands over. Being bad at football at the professional level is not the worst thing in the world.

No one has SEEN Canada's offense in the NFL... The Steelers ran BEN's offense last season. You can't comment on "Canada's offense..."

MT was GIVEN 1st team, with no thoight to Mason. Why? No confidence at all he can do that in a game.
I said it in June and I'll say it now, Kenny will EARN the QB1 position... Mason is a career QB2, and LaTrobe and pre-season added value to Mitchie so Pittsburgh can get more than they paid for him...

OK, by that logic, why did Pittsburgh acquire Pickett if they had Mitch... Mitch is not QB1....
