I don't think it's the end of Zeke in Dallas for 2021. It's better to keep Zeke in 2021 than to cut him in regard to the cap hit the Cowboys would have to take. Zeke only counts 6.52% towards the cap in 2021. There are 5 other Cowboys that take up more of a % of the Cowboys cap than Zeke. Only 2 of those players (Olinemen) could be cut to save the Cowboys money in 2021.

You're right that he certainly stays this year with almost $25M dead money if cut.

Maybe a post June 1 cut after this season if he doesn't play well (2 years with $5M dead)?

I don't follow the Cowboys that closely. I know they had some issues(new coaching staff and Oline and QB injuries) that could had limited Zeke's effectiveness. Zeke is only 25 years old. He may or may not be the same level of player. Only time will tell.

The fumbles were high last year.. I watched one game where no one touched him and he fumbled.

I also believe their OL was garbage. Without Dak I think their O was like ours without Ben in 2019. People crowded the LOS and dared them to pass.
