Conner is averaging 4.4 yards per rush. Whens the last time Bell did that?

We are ranked like 24th in rushing and the only knock on our offense is the rushing attack but you are correct. We would be worse off with Bell.
And the "Knock on the rushing" comment. You disagree with the idea that it has more to do with the scheme? Pass v run, short passes etc? You stated as much in the fichtner thread..

Conner is averaging 4.4 ypc.. so I'm not with the idea that we cant run the ball.

14 per year wouldn’t kill us. I have already admitted that we have played better this year than I ever expected.

But let’s not act like we have made the playoffs and had deep playoff runs these last 2 years without him or have all this success due to our ground game.

We are 10-0.. can’t argue with those results but are you really suggesting if we wanted to run our way to 10-0 we could’ve?

not sure.. it are you really suggesting Conner has been running well for us this season?

Pretty sure most people are still concerned about our ground game or lack thereof.

Please stop with Bell... He's done, sucks, Toast...Legs are done! No burst! Connor is not an elite RB...But compared to Bell, He is!

yes, I’m not going to lie and say he worked out in NY but acting like he would come in and immediately start in KC just silly talk. No one goes to a new team halfway thei the season and just jumps the line. He’s getting touches and contributing.

Pretty sure we will continue to see him this year in the playoffs. The season is far from over.

How many teams have "Run their way to a 10-0 record"? In todays NFL? Are you serious?

                  "Hes contributing"...
Another laugher...and a far cry from where you were after he left Pitt.

Let me frame it this way... you were comparing Bell favorably to the top RBs in the league when he left Pitt. Would you expect a Zeke Elliot to only get 4-6 touches a game for 3 or 4 games.. if he had come in mid season? The answer to that is obviously no...

I think this is how most folks see it. Conner > Bell

I wouldn’t expect any top anyone to get a bunch of touches halfway thru a season on a new team that was already 8-1 or whatever they were when he went to them.

You don’t change it all when you are already successful. You act like he’s not getting any touches or meaningful snaps.

Is he getting meaningful touches? What are his stats thus far? Other than the TD of course... not sure if that indicates anything specific... or that can be used to counter our collective arguement that we are better off without Bell

                            Meaning full touches..

CEH..14 carries...69 yards...2 TD's. That's the runningback that had meaningful carries last night.

I mean... I'm not saying he should start... or that the chiefs should reinvent the wheel so to speak.... you would think a generational RB such as Bell... wouldn't need to be nursed into production so slowly

Very obvious by now that Bell was a creation of Ben , the O-line we used to have and AB. His individual talents have been on display ever since he left.
