You were just asking why he wasn’t getting more touches and couldn’t unseat a rookie. That was never the idea when he went to KC but you asked because YOU were being dramatic and sensational.Steelers 27

Gase is the biggest mistake the Jets ever made, not Bell.Steelers 27

Theres a hell of a difference between a "Good player"... and what Bell was being described as on this forum (by a select few) for a long time after he left.Comment

Isn’t it weird how 14 would just ruin a whole teams future? Especially the Steelers because they’ve never had to deal with that type of money before and the franchise has no idea what it’s doing.Steelers 27

I didnt say that Bell was the worst mistake the Jets ever made... anybody who thinks that the Bell move went down as anything other than a bust.... clearly is letting their feelings get in the way.Comment

mans this is the problem with this debate. People need it to be one way or the other. If we kept him it would surely kill our whole defense because 14 million just isn’t possible in today’s NFL. Yes, that’s sarcasm.

did anyone hear collinsworth last night describe leveon and the scanario of him signing with KC?
saying he's "so unselfselfish" because he wanted CEH's ok to sign there.

Im not saying the contract is the only factor but it certainly makes it easier. Obviously we can't know what would of happened if Bell stayed Pittsburgh. So with some of our defensive contracts coming up not having Bell on the books is certainly going to help. Im not saying signing Bell would have been a bad move, only that in our current state it will be nice not having to work around that contract.Comment

We have seen the offensive positions are much easier to replace through the draft than the defensive ones. Defense in my opinion are the most important contracts.Comment

IMO pretty much all the others are gone. I'd love to keep JuJu and AV, but you can replace Conner at RB. McDonald isn't avauilable a lot of the time anyway. We have proven we can survive without Banner. Feiler is worse at Guard than he was at Tackle.
McCloud I'd love to keep."My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"Comment
