not at all, I'm sure Bell's teammates and coaches are thrilled he went bowling all night long the night before a game that he was too sick to play in.

          Gotta be more to this.
Guys sit out if practice all the time and still play that weekend. Why couldn't have Bell woke up Sunday morning feeling good and play?
Seems like if he felt good enough to bowl Saturday night, he could have called Gase and said he was good to go.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

According to the HC, Bell had the flu that is going around. Told Bell to stay away from the team until he was not contagious. Bell wasn't on his death bed, just told to stay away.... nothing more to see here.

but Bell shouldn't have been resting or getting some sleep or anything, right? when you're getting paid over a million $$$ to play in a game and you're too sick to play the answer is obviously to go bowling until 1am the night before...

                    The night before not playing?

A wild and crazy night of bowling until 1AM surely has an effect on the game the next day.

while I agree it's not a good look for Bell, he was not playing in the game the next day. And he may have felt better the day before the bowl-a-thon. He didn't practice that week so he was not going to play regardless.

its just a bad look for a guy who is historically known for being a distraction/diva etc.

not playing because the doctors had still ruled him as sick

If Im Gase or the Jets organization im trying to tamp this whole thing down...because they dont need Bell's trade value dropping any more than it already has.

No. He had the flu during the week. He was contagious and told not to come to the facilities.

He felt better but was still ruled out because he missed all week.

Imagine being told to go home from work during the week and then getting in trouble for being out on a Saturday night when you have no responsibilities on Sunday.

Gase even said he won’t punish a grown man for going outside.

He was bowling not at Magic City at 5 AM.

He watched the game from the press box.

                                Nothing to see here. Lmao.
