Others can't admit the fact that the Jets looked like a BETTER run team without Bell. Won't admit that the Jets were foolish to pay him all that guaranteed money.

Dude the Jets WANTED TO TRADE HIM. They know it was a mistake.
You realize this is a totally new coaching staff right?

You can’t compare the team last year to this year when they have a new HC who was barely average in Miami.

If they wanted to trade him he would’ve been traded.

Teams called the Jets for his services. That’s not a knock on Bell even though you think it is.

Are you saying the Jets have no interest in trading Bell?

Allow me to simply reply by quoting myself.

This is about kicking his defenders when THEY are down. Seeing them squirm trying to defend their indefensible position.

I love THAT SPORT almost as much as I love football.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

You do realize that the fins averaged a top ten 4.7 ypc rushing with Gase and are now the ONLY TEAM WITH A WORSE RUN GAME THAN THE JETS today at 3.3 ypc?

Funny how Gase is at fault for Bells struggles but oversaw a perfectly fine run game in Miami.

Keep squirming and reaching, my friend

Gase run game was better before Bell.
Jets run game was BETTER before Bell.

And us...despite injuries...slow BENNY STINKIN SNAIL has had TWICE had a superior run performance than Bell has had all season.

The Jets and Miami are 2 different teams.

                You have no point.

You blamed Gase and his dolphin background.
Funny who had no problem with his running game before Bell.

Gase is a great coach. He just didn't have the ta'lent
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

For this year, do you think that Bell is: (a) over performing his contract, (b) performing in line with his contract, or (c) under performing his contract? I think under performing.

Next season, do you think Bell will do: (a) better, (b) the same, or (c) worse? I think the same at best. He was declining in his last year with us (hidden by so many touches). And I don't think a year away from football did him any favors (on the field anyway). Maybe he improves a bit running (because he's been pretty bad running the ball), but he'll probably still be good receiving and pass protecting. But, I don't think he'll ever deliver value for his contract. This isn't limited to Bell, I think it's true of the majority of big name UFA signings (particularly those that switch teams).

                                definitely underperforming this year.

and I think he'll do better next year, Bell can't do worse can he?
