in the Chiefs' 33-31 victory over the Panthers Le'Veon Bell produced the following #s:
4 carries for 8 yds and 1 rec for -5 yds
I'm sooooo glad he didn't accept our more than generous contract offer!Comment

25 yards today as a backup to a rookie. I don't see Bell ever starting a NFL game again, unless someone gets injured. Wonder where he lands next year? My guess is it will be his last, as this must be incredibly embarrassing for him.Comment

Here are my thoughts.. "Generational/elite talents" do not back up a Rookies. I think weve seen enough of Bell by now (post Pittsburgh) to admit that we are a hell of alot better off without him...
And to add that some folks were very, very wrong about Bell (related to how he would perform away from Pitt... and the impact that Bell's departure would have on this team).Last edited by Ernie; 11-23-2020, 08:57 AM.Comment

I will admit I didn’t think we would be 10-0 after Ben returned but it’s not like our ground game has been a bright spot. I’m happy to be wrong about winning without running the football effectively. Hopefully we don’t have to rely on our ground game in crunch time.Steelers 27

you expect him to come in and unseat a first round rookie RB after a few weeks in KC? He’s still learning the offense. Pretty sure Bell had a TD yesterday in the 4th quarter of a close game.

And in terms of our running game... stop acting like Bell would make a difference.. Conner is a better running back than Bell.Comment

The only part that bugged me was the announcers claiming Bell called CEH before he signed and made sure it was OK with him before joining KC. They said 'Bell is such a selfless player'....

If Bell was as good as you repeatedly claimed... I would expect him to be an immediate game changer for any team that acquires him.. (your words). I would expect a team acquiring such an "Elite/generational talent" to build immediate packages to showcase that talent... no way I'd be limiting that guy... lol

We are ranked like 24th in rushing and the only knock on our offense is the rushing attack but you are correct. We would be worse off with Bell.Steelers 27

lmao. No, I wouldn’t expect anyone to come in halfway thru the year and immediately start. The fact that he is getting touched and scored yesterday should tell you he isn’t some bench warmer.

Agree. Bell wouldn't be the best add to this team. Not sure he would be any better than Conner"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"Comment

And half of those yards were on a 13 yard carry on a 3rd and 25.. against basically a prevent defense.Comment
