McCaffrey? Coach just got fired. Same team went to the SB....when the QB and secondary excelled.
NFL is a business and players who put up elite numbers deserves elite compensation.

And teams that don't want to overpay for a RB on the decline deserves a round of applause...

It is a business.. and we have to factor in supply and demand...and how easily it is to replace RB production (at minimal cost). There arent too many positions on the field like RB.. where you can plug in a mid or late round RB (or UFA in many cases) and they be "Plug and play" types. Also, looking at the rate of attrition at the position... most teams choose to utilize a RB by commitee. I certainly think we are doing a nice job with this.. and really like the diversity within our RB group. I think we really found something with K. White.

SNY reports the Jets are expected to try to trade Le'Veon Bell in the offseason.

Bell was made available ahead of October's trade deadline, and the situation has only deteriorated since. Coach Adam Gase works overtime to make it clear he was not in favor of Bell's signing, most recently declining to defend Bell after he was revealed to have gone bowling Saturday evening after having been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Were Bell to be dealt, he would be coming with a $15.5 million cap charge, making any move difficult to pull off. Running behind one of the league's worst offensive lines, the 27-year-old has not looked like the player he was before holding out for all of 2018 in Pittsburgh.

Someone made a great point about paying a player. Regardless of how you play it you ARE paying for what a player has done and hope he replicates that success.

Well, this isn't going to play well in Jetland.

As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

                but Go Steelers!!!

Now there's the way to demonstrate your commitment to the team.

So glad this moron is OFF this team.

So is faking an illness the same as faking an injury?
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

Yup, he didn't cause any issues with his holdout.
