I ball wash a lot! Tomlin, Bell, Ben, Conner, Pouncey, Dupee, etc. Guess I get a permanent life time ban.

Completely ridiculous. The Steelers have almost no cap space, have cap issues next year, and have no draft capital. Bell doesn't look particularly explosive, and his best years are behind him. Hard pass.

Talk about bringing Bell back is just as pointless as talk about firing Tomlin. Not. Gonna. Happen.

I would like Bell back to be In a 2 back committee with a sprinkle of J Sam. As many here agree.
Conner is banged up a lot. But what do you offer him soon? Is Snell a wasted pick then?
Will Bell be humbled at all after all this? Getting traded for peanuts would have to hurt his ego.
I know he can fit into the cap after some cuts etc but will he work his contract at all once here?
No idea how things with him went on behind the scenes. Maybe the FO is like NO way not even for a low pick in 2021. I think he would really help save this season. Just not sure it can be done with all the moving parts.
It would not seem to be something the Steelers do but for the rest of this season he would be a good rental then let him try again or restructure in the offseason. But what pick is that worth in 2021? I am not giving any up in 2020.
I think big cap hit RBs can be a good idea if you have a rookie QB because they can take the pressure off.

But, they're a luxury that's hard to afford if you have to pay a QB market value.

I hope nobody trades for Bell.
Let him sit in that cesspool and lose for the duration of his guaranteed money contract.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

Le’Veon Bell is a ballbag. The Jets are perennial chumps. Everyone sniggers at them now. They totally disgraced themselves.

I highly doubt Bell gets traded today, but wouldn't be surprised at all if the Jets try to move him this offseason.

I can see that, but injuries to that position still scare me and a really good #2 is needed. Needing a good 2 or decent 3 has happened for the steelers to many times now at the worse times. It's tough to say the RB worth overall as each team is different IMO. But running the wheels off does not work.

                      It’s football. Injuries happen.

We are paying Ben 26 mill this year or some crazy number and he wasn’t even hit on his injury.

Sam Darnold misses time. Mason missed a game. Flacco is our next game.
Nick Foles only played a half before going down.
Drew Brees just missed 6 weeks. Patrick Mahomes is still out.

IMO it’s pretty wild how people keep bringing up RB injuries and why it’s not worth it but you have QB’s making twice as much and no one says a word when they get injured.

After one season? I don’t think that would be a good idea. How about upgrading the OL and other areas? Seems like a better idea to me.

I loved Bell when he wore the Steeler black and gold. I didn't like him holding out but I understood his point of view. What I didn't like was him pulling the stunt of sitting out a year and then finding the loophole in the CBA which made him a free agent.

He is still a top 3 running back in the league and by all reports he has had a great attitude with the Jets, working hard and encouraging the younger players. I wish him well but as far as I'm concerned he wanted too much money for the production he would give us. While I don't think the combination of Conner, Samuels, and Snell will equal what Bell would have given us but we will get a much better bang for our buck.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

                          but Go Steelers!!!

Hmm... I think he was worth every dollar for the production he was giving us as a Steeler. Dude was averaging 129 yards a game as a Steeler the first 5 years or so.

If anything I think you blame the OC for giving Bell so many touches.

You can’t give a guy 300+ touches a year and then expect him to gives hometown discount.

bell is not close to being a top 3 back in this league

                              that's an insane statement

If you haven't figured out the far greater value of a franchise QB relative to a RB by now, well, I don't think there's anything anyone here could say that would help you.
