bell will get a lot of money but he will never recoup the 14.5 million he left on the table last year

Notice how Tevin Coleman is laying in the cut? He's going to come a lot cheaper then Bell with less mileage too. But with a similar skill set. Not to mention, there's still the draft where good to great runningbacks can be had in the second rounds or later.Comment

The money being thrown around in FA is crazy. Sure the RB position has been somewhat devalued, but with crazy money being spent, someone is going to pay Bell big! Will he recoup the $14.5M he gave up last year? Most likely not. But he'll cash in some serious guaranteed money, which he'll use to justify the past year and a half.Comment

If he signed with us he wouldn’t see half of that contract money. We would move him in a few years to save money. Once you factor in guaranteed money it’s probably a wash. Even if it’s slightly less than the missed year he stuck to his guns and won the FA lottery.
Who wouldn’t want the chance to have 6 teams thrownofdwrs at you instead of being forced to take 1 offer without knowing what else was out there?
But who knows.. maybe Maniac is right because the leaves told him about Tevin ColemanComment

I read it's Jets, Colts, Ravens, Packers, Texans or Bills (profootballtalk). But I also read the Colts were not interested. Who the heck knows.Comment

Again...Not trying to be a smart Ass but, There ( supposedly ) a lot of teams after Ronald Ocean ) that's pre Mr. Big Chest )...
Alot of teams are " interested " in a talented RB...But I think when a repeat drug offender, with a ton of mileage, and some major injuries asks for the moon...Some will back out...Maybe a lotLast edited by Disco1981; 03-12-2019, 12:33 PM.Comment
