“Young” just might be the key word here.

Notice I said good coach, but let you tell it Tomlin is no good and was hired because of A rule.

31 other teams told me JH was pass his prime when no other team thought to claim him. You do know he cleared waivers right? Well maybe you didn't because you only come around when there's something negative to talk about.

Look we can all argue about this till we are blue in the fingertips...

I think the thing we all can agree on is this:

                              a) The optics look really bad. And while to some level it may be a meh vs. a big deal.
                              b) The downside on this is so much worse if this does blow up than giving up on a player like McCullers

I mean think about it, if JH has any impact on the game and we lose to them it will go down as the worst decision made by Coach Tomlin. I mean in the end was it worth it?

Frankly, I would like to think something may have been going on in the locker room that made this untenable for the Steelers. Teams do not share all of their dirty laundry with the media/public...but I think some anonymous sources would've have leaked it by now. So while I hope it appears not to be the case.

In the end...I just don't see the upside to allowing even a slowed 39 year old with huge playoff experience a chance to have a career game or two that may end your road to the super bowl.

                              Does that make sense?

To me, hearing that it was something behind the scenes would be worse. That would mean that the Steelers were holding onto him because they thought JH still had something, but left him go anyway because of internal conflict. Also last night I heard one of the guys on ESPN say there was conflict between JH and Coach Porter. Two alpha males who had differing opinions on how some things should be done.
