Dupree a big surprise? Not on many mocks as 1st round pick

Was he expected to go so much earlier that no one thought we'd be looking at him? Or, (gulp) ...

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!

He's a 1st rounder on every mock I've seen. I've seen him from as high as 7 to pick 20.

what do we know about this pick? is this the kid that has trouble at times dissecting the-play? what is his football iq?
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Mayock had him at 8 and most had him in top 10 at NFL. com. 42" vertical and 4.56 40 at 269 lbs.

Dupree was expected to be gone which is why so few had him in mocks. He is raw and I expect we will hear "needs to get bigger and stronger." Hopefully he can produce and deliver something before our last "get bigger and stronger" OLB selection.

I never considered him because the thought was that NYJ, ATL, or KC would take him. I also thought of him more as a stud DE in a 4-3 not a 3-4 OLB. Based on talent we lucked out big time. I think we are going to be running more 4-3. We might have one of the best D lines for years to come. Lots of big athletic bodies...all young..all hungry. Giddy up!

I don't think he has to get bigger and stronger.. He's already at 272 lbs.. Great pick at 22.. Value and BPA

so much for the steelers going BPA all the time.
hopefully with a year learning behind deebo he'll get it.

he played some ILB and he has the athleticism. Dude on ESPN said because they moved him around so much he never got a chance to showcase his skills in any one area. I'm kinda shocked to be honest. I had Ray built up so much in my mind because I figured he'd actually be there for their pick. I never once imagined Dupree would get past ATL or NYJ. I think Jets taking Williams means they might be moving Wilkerson otherwise lots of mocks had them taking Dupree

How much bigger than 269lbs does he need to be??
