I think the two sides have reached an impasse. I and others don't think they're ever going to win anything significant with this offensive philosophy, others do, or at least are good with it winning enough games to tease a 7th playoff spot every other year, and that's good enough.

100% agree. It was a huge loss to this board when he got fed up with the BS and baiting. We lost a very knowledgeable poster. If you notice other good posters are posting far less and the board is filled with garbage from a few trolls.

We did seem to lean in to the things he did well. Maybe because he was part of the game planning process.

Have you never seen other teams scheme guys WIDE open on play action? He was double covered, but got both hands on the ball.

depends on age.

My oldest is 7. She “likes” the Steelers but she really likes the Panthers more. But Sir Purr also gave everyone in her class a free bicycle so hell.. how can you not like the local team. Plus all her friends are Panther fans.

My youngest likes the Tigers aka the Bengals.. because she really likes Tigers.

Now, on sports boards I see a few people who are Golden State Fans and also love Patrick Mahomes and KC. Most people like winners so I think they will pick a team that is hot right now. Those people annoy the hell out of me.

But I think these days fans are mostly rooting for individual players. So if you like Watt’s game or Pickens game you will root for the Steelers but the loyalty isn’t there.

Nice. I bet the oldest will come around and end up liking the Steelers as an adult because she have the nostalgia of dad being a fan.
