    But the results say different.
A poster already pointed out they were racked with injuries in the 4-12, 6-10 years. Injuries are the great equalizer.
The results don't say different, hell even you just didn't say different.

      The results DO say different

      1. A super bowl appearance
      2. back to back NFC championship games
      3. He's winning playoff games

Those results DO say different. He's definitely got his team going in the right direction.

Except when they happen to the Steelers (Shazier, Bell multiple years, Brown, Ben, etc).

No, you clearly aren't grasping what's being discussed. If scheme is winning the games then why do injuries matter? You argued the receivers are being "schemed open", why would it matter if the receiver was Brandon Aiyuk or Jauan Jennings?

man, if they just gave Tomlin a fraction of the doubt they give these other coaches their post would be so much better.. lol.

This is a silly point being made. Every great coach in history including the greatest ever being Gibbs and Walsh had quality players to run their schemes. They built the teams in their vision to run a certain way, and were successful for a long period of time because of it. One of the greats could win with 3 different QBs in less than a decade, but that's a rare feat that only Gibbs could accomplish. There have been coaches with HOF players than have never won anything, or maybe 1 SB at best. Give all 32 NFL coaches the same players and you will never get the same results from all of them. Some are just plain better in utilizing the strengths and weaknesses of their roster. That's the entire point of what separates one coach from another, or else just get billboard cutouts on the sidelines and call it a day.

Again, Shanny inherited a crap team coming off two horrendous seasons and built it in 2 years. The last 4 seasons he had one disastrous year with injuries that only a fool would use against him. I already listed who was hurt and that it was the 2nd most injuries by man lost in the last 20 years. Imagine Steelers losing TJ, Heyward, Sutton, Warren, Najee, Pickett, Pickens, etc, etc. Let me know what would happen LOL. Again, some truly silly statements going on.

What's funny is they talk about how bad the OC is, How Pickett isn't the guy, Johnson can't catch, ILB's are the worst, OL needs to be overhauled, DL needs to be overhauled, Najee is a bust, We need corners, and then scoff at Tomlin finishing with a winning record.

No one gives the Steelers those benefits, they expect them to continue winning, the same posters singing the praises of Shanahan would bury Tomlin should he go 4-12 regardless of circumstance. Hell, the Steelers just had a season turnaround rarely seen in the NFL and you'd think the world ended on this message board. We'll see how long Shanahan keeps the Niners competitive in the NFC. It looks good right now for them to be sure.

I don't ever recall Steelers with that many impact starter injuries in one season, but if they did I'm sure most fans would surely understand. It would be foolish to criticize them in that scenario.
