    Definitely Leal..

People keep forgetting we had Ben on our cap these last 5 years while Lamar was on a rookie salary until this year. Makes it easier to roster build. I expect us to have a much stronger roster next draft with the cap clear and maybe our highest pick since Ben was selected in 2004.

wow, that Lamar Jackson guy sure has set the Ravens franchise back 5 years just like you predicted, huh?

never mind that LJ has won 2 AFC North titles and that Baltimore is currently leading the division with a 6-3 record.

and oh yeah, how has your boy Baker Mayfield done in the meantime? oh, he got run out of Cleveland...

it's time to shut your piehole Steel Maniac.

Love how they use Ricard - 67% of the snaps. Juscyck plays 47% in SF, two of the best run games in football. Steelers scratch their heads trying to figure out how to fix the run game for years while the highest paid FB in the league plays only 5% of the snaps.

I think the Steelers draft better than they do. a lot of the Ravens best players hey have traded for or picked up in free agency.

Hopefully over time that means something

I don’t think we dedicated ourselves to fixing the run game. We rarely see a run heavy game plan the last 5 years. How many games have we run more than passing? We were quick to abandon the run game when it was showing positive results early in 2020. Halfway though the year we just stopped.

whole philosophy screams passing offense these last few years.

                  Yep...turnovers lead to losses.

It's the first thing that pretty much anyone learns about football.

KC is -1 this year, Miami -3. The Rams were only +2 last year and led the league in INT on offense.

They're a killer if your entire offensive game plan is to hide from turnovers.

yep.. and all turnovers aren’t created equal.

You throw a hail mary before the half or a bomb on 3rd down that acts like a punt, its different than a pick 6 or a TO that creates a short field.

but regarding the Miami Ravens game.. I don’t even think Lamar had a turnover. They had a failed 4th down at the Miami 40. That was it.

                      319 passing yards. 3TD’s
                      119 rushing yards 1 TD

and Lamar is why they lost?

Tua threw for 459 yards and 4 TD’s.

this may be true for 2 of their 3 losses. I believe those also involved not taking the points and going for it at the GL.

but its also the Ravens and supposedly they only win because of their great defense.. lol

yes. And some turnovers are more egregious then others. like scrambling and making a stupid throw vs drop back/quick pass and a ball going thru a receiver’s hands

                          especially those late In games

ps. Tune into some nfc championship game action from last year. Everybodys GOAT threw 3 INTs and won the game.

if only we had a defensive coach that could match what tampa D and all those high draft picks can do. Lol

no, which is why I didn’t use them as examples like the Miami game.

On page 3 I said there are games where Lamar deserves the blame for losses due to his turnovers.

and where did those INT’s occur?

3rd Qtr: Tampa up 28 to 17. Brady deep pass intercepted at GB 32. Leads to a 13 play TD.

Tampa up 28 to 23. Brady deep pass intercepted at GB 3 yard line and returned to the 19. Defense holds

Brady deep pass INT at GB 24.

All these passes were intercepted deep in GB territory and while they held on to win the game was closer due to it.

Context is needed. If these were all
in Tampa territory the outcome is probably different.
