Maybe he'd rather go to a team to split carries instead of being on a team that is known to ride their #1 horse until he collapses. The only way Conner could contribute in Pittsburgh as much as he is in Arizona would be an injury to Najee.

Lost their last 3 home games. Not sure if its legit since Murray has been injured but it may be a problem if it continues. What is the point of home field if it isn’t an advantage?
Was an interesting stat. Arizona is now 10-3 after last night. 7-0 on the road, a .500 team at home. Forget the numbers of turnovers, but the team takes the ball away a ton on the road and barely at home.

Also, I heard no other team showed interest until AZ and he signed for peanuts. I think this was his chance to start over and prove himself.
it's the peanuts part that bothers me. There was a point where we knew he'd be $2 mil per, tops. Seems like a 3-4 year deal in that price range could have worked out for all parties.

Don't get me wrong, it's great to have a stud at RB. But, not having anyone behind him that could carry a team, that's a problem.

          Is their OL good?

I think their scheme and skill positions are great but is their OL really that good?

From what I see its mostly spreading teams out, even at the GL and guys are making plays in space.

I like it too… I hate bunch formations and having a defense all crammed together so its easy to stop the run.

Winner. Tomlin is a dinosaur in this regard, putting all your eggs in one basket re: RBs is outdated. Heck, even the 70s Steelers spread the wealth with Rocky.

Because folks in Steeler land was saying he's washed. Blaming him entirely for the running game problems. Now we all see who the real culprit is.

Two of those are close losses to GB and LAR, the other was with Colt McCoy and Chris Streveler at QB.

This isn’t true. Pouncey, DD and AV were criticized a ton last year.

We also said the OC abandoned the run. There were people who used actual stats to show that we could run last year, we just decided not to after seeing a few plays for no gains.

Lastly, there was a highlight reel of missed holes by Conner, McFarland and Snail that showed it wasn’t always the OL’s fault when it came to the running game.

I feel like most fans were on the "he's pretty good when healthy" train.

And I don't think anyone accused our OL of being good at run blocking since JCs good year.

Conners only problem in Pittsburgh was staying healthy & being on the field.

during offseason on here videos were posted of how dotson played.

the size of some of the holes connor missed were laughable. like a 10 foot wide hole on 1 play.
being healthy doesn't make up for the vision a RB has

I wonder if this is due to poor OL play in general. Like how that's part of the reason Ben throws quickly even when he doesn't necessarily need to.

Every RB misses a big hole at times...don't recall that happening with Conner real often, and i watched most of his games at Pitt too. The one year Conner was completely healthy he was killer. He was getting over 100 yards rushing and over 50 receiving most games.

Well, Conner's seems to be finding holes in AZ. Get's he must have gotten glasses in the off-season.

do you just make this stuff up?

Conner was well-liked by most, it was just frustrating that he couldn't stay healthy.

and plenty of people here criticized the OL, but I guess that doesn't fit your narrative.
