What ownership issues?

Our owner has major issues valuing politics over winning and can't seem to see his head coaches's flaws, which will become more apparent as Ben declines. That's right politics. Tomlin only hosted Hillary Clinton campaign in his house ordered and his team to vote on whether to come out of not for a game with a Bears ( And lost due partly the distractions per Ben). NEVER mix politics and football. His father was made an ambassador of Ireland. His father knew football. His son, I think isn't half the man he is. It's an open secert that many Steeler minority owners want a better head coach. With Tomlin extended three years, which is two years longer than our last playoff win, this team is going to bottom out.

Bottoming out should be no playoff wins for 5 seasons for the Steelers. New flash, that is happening. What sane owner would give a head coach a 3 year extension oder those terms? Examples please.

Free agency bleed this team thin, our schedule is brutal. We only play 5 playoff teams on the road next year. How's that going to work out for us? The OL and DB's are a mess, and it could take two full good drafts to re-bound. And Ben is approaching 40. Haskins and Rudy will get you no where. Don't assume Tomlin know how to hire an assistant, he doesn't. The flee from us or he makes them the scapegoat after hiring that person. His mistake.

Giving Tomlin three more years to constantly underachieve will make it a solid 15 years of nothing from him. Thus, all the Tomlin supporters will look just like all the Dolphin fans who were still ball washing Shula in the 1990's for what he did in the 1970"s. We won't be winning anything so for the next 3 years, enjoy the rebuild like me. Plus, I get to see Tomlin face plant another 3 years which puts egg on the faces of the Tomlin supporters.

Win/win in my book. Then in 4 years we should be ready to contend (provided we find our QB of the future). It's all good.

Could Tomlin win with the stacked team on 2018? No.
Could he win with the 2017 team? No. None of the teams he's going to have over the next 3 years will be better than those two teams. So we KNOW he won't be winning anything.

Let's just enjoy the rebuild and us finding our QB of the future. We'll be ready in about 4 years to do something significant. Hang tough Joel.
