At worse we might miss because of a wrong analysis, but it won't likely be a reach in a draft rich in tackles.
Hope a bunch of edge guys go early too because that's a position we won't draft early (even though we need depth).

Safety too, but it's less of a premier position.

I'm also hoping for 4-5 place kickers in the first round before #24 because we have Boz.....one can always hope.

Looks like someone's favorite pick is sliding:

probably based on Etienne’s 40 time. doubt he goes first but who knows.. I think it comes down to speed vs utility.

After watching both I’m more of a Harris guy.

            Nice.

Maybe if we keep talking about it on the internet, we can feed into the insecurity of NFL GMs and create a run on kickers.

Think of it like Game Stop stock or something.

In fact, do think about it at all.

Who cares if he's the 8th ranked K in the draft. He's surely worth the 16th pick.

Especially in a year where there's so much uncertainty at important positions. Take a guy with a high floor. Take a kicker!

I like Javonte Williams a lot as well. I'd love to take him in the second round.

I'll bet you have never seen him play.

A player with potential to put three on the board at any given time? Someone to ensure that the opposing O starts their drive no better than the 25? Sign me up!

There is some very good quality edge available in FA. Expect some of the cap flush teams will go that direction with proven talent.

Maybe I'm misremembering this but it is something to worry about.
Usually there are 8-10 tackles drafted by the end of round two, and maybe 2-3 of then are reaches. Such is the value put on Tackles. This year, the Tackle class is deeper than most, and we also for once have a good center class. Typically 2-3 Centers and guards will go in round two.

Overall It's a good OL class, just what we need. We have the luxury of going RB, or QB in round one, and picking OL in round two, with a chance to get steal a decent one in round three. As always the late round tackles at least some of them can start at guard if they can't play Tackle on the NFL level.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

I'm curious to see what the dolphins do. If they go ahead and sign Conner, then I don't expect them to take another RB until round 3 or beyond. But if they don't sign any free agent running back, then I expect them to go runningback in round two. Which would be bad for us if were looking at either of the top three runninbacks.

If Colbert wants Harris ,Walker or Etienne, he may be forced to take one of them at 24.

**Bucs are sitting down there at the end of round one and they too need another RB.

why wait until Round 2, why wouldn't they take one with their second pick in Round 1?

I see a lot of mocks with Harris or Etienne going to the Fins at #18.

The Dolphins are worried that Tua is a bust. Their own coach said he wants Fitzpatrick back and he's rumored to sign with them for two years. What the heck? Fitz will be 39 years old this season! If they do this, they are really saying Tua might take a step backward with enough film on him. Tua who was benched twice is in fact a shaky 1st round pick. He's not a " mobile " QB capable of running for yardage. Of course they really want Russell Wilson or Watson. Let these two GM QB's twist in the wind. I hope they do not get traded, but Wilson I think will.

Bottom line they really need a dynamic back for the easier throws both qb's can make. They might pick Harris or Etienne
