That would be fantastic but I don't think any of the guys you have listed are going to be avaiable when the Steelers draft in that orund, maybe Harris because there's a big run on QBs that get over drafted but the others I believe will be gone by the time the Steelers draft in those rounds, just my opinion. I'd take Mayfield in the 1st, best center left in the second, and an RB in the 3rd. I'm a firm believer in building the oline and turning a decent back into a good back rather drafting a good back and hoping he can make the oline better. Tremble would be a nice addition in the 4th round but just don't think he'll be there.

Plus while I like the positions selected, I just don't envision the Steelers taking 4 offensive players in the first 4 rounds, they love to draft OLBs.

Co-singed, I like these players, and they address areas of need.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

yeah, the lists on the mock sim sites probably need an update.

I would think OLB is way down on the list after taking highsmith in the 3rd last year and two 1st rounders since 2015. throw in bush at 10 overall and its hard to say linebacker hasn't been addressed heavily.

i do understand what you are saying. OLB is a very important position in this scheme.
but i think they give highsmith a year to see how he does.
if he disappoints, then yeah OLB will be at the top of our needs for the 2022 draft.
one of the reasons i'm so against taking any linebacker high this year.

how on earth will you pay all of them in 4-5 years

Alabama RB Najee Harris Says Zoom Call With Steelers Was Coolest One He's Had

If the Pittsburgh Steelers wind up selecting a running back in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, it’s a good bet that it will be Najee Harris out of Alabama. After all, the Steelers want to improve their running game in 2021 and the word most of the offseason has been that they […]

Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

in his latest mock, Todd McShay has us drafting Najee Harris in the first and Landon Dickerson in the second.

After listening to that Adam Schefter Podcast it sounds like the Steelers will take Najee Harris if he falls to them. There is no doubt about it. #Steelers

who cares what the masses think? Colbert isn't here to please the public with his picks.

if we draft a defender in the first 3 picks I'll trust Colbert to know what he's doing.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

One thing on Harris, well two.

1 ) I'd still like to see his 40 yard dash time.

2 ) He seems to be a low body fat person, which is sort of rare for a power runner. His mans ability to make em' miss really impresses me give his size and sometimes very physical nature. Fans of the stiff arm, or leaping over a low tackler will gravitate toward him. I hope he's there for us.

Or maybe they don't really want a RB in the first. Got teams on the scent. And love the tweet because they want someone to move up and take a RB leaving them with an ILB!

As tempting as it might be I hope the Steelers resist the urge to go defense in Rd 1. And it would end up wasting another season of Watt, Fitz, and Heyward with an offense that averaged <20 pts per game in that last month and a half of the season. I hope the FO sees the obvious...this offense needs so much help right now.

Has Todd McShay ever been right? I’m sure he hits on a few but it sure feels like most of his predictions with our draft picks never happen.
