    "fairwell" bell

I lost all respect for him, almost worst than Lebron when he left the cavs.

I respect he wants to get paid and hope he does, but it goes to show what type person he is, he had no contact whatsoever with any of his "teammates, co-workers, and friends" .... this just team got stronger.

I wish he had signed. If Conner goes down, I'm not worried as much about the drop off in running as I am in Ben's protection. He's learned to be a pretty good blocker ... Ridley and Samuels, have they shown any skill in that department at all?

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

Good riddance. Thanks for all the good times Lev (pot busts, suspensions, dumb rap videos, missing walkthroughs, etc). Hope you enjoy Buffalo or Cleveland.

I’m just sad the Heinz folks never got a chance to boo him. Are the Bills or Jets on next year’s schedule?

Also don’t forget how absolutely useless he was come playoff time. I recall back to back seasons where he was injured and out before the playoffs even started.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

Reported on Fox Sports Radio that the Steelers plan to use the Transition Tag on Bell. Per the report, it means they can match whatever another team offers if they choose to, but if they decide not to match, they lose him ... and there's NO draft-pick compensation.

Oh yeah, how could I forget about that. Can't blame him for the blown knee, but a groin or whatever it was the one year?

That being said, the dude was a helluva player when on the field.

So, Bell gets credit for a year played as far as the franchise tag goes. Why wouldn't any player being tagged a second time just take a year off and wait for free agency? Or, if you get tagged a "third" time get the average of the top 5 salaries for one year and then hit free agency. This makes no sense to me that Bell gets credited for a "tagged" year without signing the contract.

Would make sense we would play the AFC East next year since we are playing the west this year and played the south last year.
