    Philly let McCoy walk.

    Did either team regret it?

Who is the last elite high paid free agent RB to lead a SB winner in rushing? Marshall Faulk.
Are you trying to tell me that the Cowboys are going to let Zeke walk?

From the looks of it, what Lemming is saying is that the Cowboys already did let a top RB walk, and have not been affected. The Eagles did let a top RB leave, and won the SB last year. RB is one position that it seems that if you let a guy, who is at the top of his game leave you can still carry on and compete.

As far as letting Zeke goes...it might depend on what he's asking when the time comes.

Le'Veon Bell is a douchebag. His fans are uninformed. Many have emotional issues that require hospitalization.

Ya they let Murray go in 2014 and then in 2016 they spent a first round pick on Elliot, that shows you the value they place on RB. They realized the importance of having a threat in the backfield and what it does to defensive game plans.

Also if you're following that logic you would have to explain why the Rams extended Gurley early and the Cardinals extended Johnson and why the Steelers tried to pay Bell and why Barkley was taken in the 1st. If teams don't value the RB position then they sure have a funny way of showing it.

If they decide they would rather draft a RB and not shell out 17 million per year, they might....

You JUST SAID teams can't just let a great back go and think they can draft a replacement. Cowboys did just that. Drafting a back and allocating 17 mil per for a free agent? Not the same my friend.

Barkley? Did I ever say I don't like drafting a back in the first? I just don't think any back is worth 15 million. One reason why is THEY ARE EASY TO REPLACE in the draft.

Did I suggest Bell won't get paid? I just said it will be a stupid team.

All I care about is what CHAMPIONS value. They ain't in the bank breaking free agent lottery.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

              TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

Only if they are smart. Again Demarco had a bigger season than Zeke has ever had and they let him walk.

And what they do at QB. You can pay for a RB if your QB is on a rookie deal.

Just saw on NFLN that Cowboys are considering Extending Amari Cooper and Dak Prescott in the off season a top priority.
