yup. i bet there hasnt been one "murder' by the police where the suspect didnt run, make a move, argue, disrespect, threaten and totally comply with the officers commands.
im smart enough to know how to treat police when i encounter them. you really think me calling them names and giving them crap when they pull me over for a traffic violation?

No, I go by what the evidence is showing me and not assuming. I don't agree that all was shot for no reason because I put myself in those same situation and sometimes I would've pulled the trigger myself, because me going home is important. But at the same time some I look and shake my head because I didn't find one reason to shoot.

the problem is many times these interactions are stressful situations on both sides and the way people react in stressful situations can be unexpected.

you could say 'yes sir' and it may not matter because a particular officer had a bad situation pulling over someone like you in the past.

officers are trained to react in stressful situations, right? then how do you explain an officer shooting someone in their own apartment in dallas? i don't know the details, but assume people mean well and it was probably a mistake gone horribly worse. anyone can accidentally make a mistake. and you never know when it might happen.

i genuinely think everyone is good. but then add in the media fuel to the fire that makes people angry at everyone else and you get more inadvertent mistakes because people make more mistakes when they aren't in control of their emotions.

we live in a country where we're supposed to give people the benefit of the doubt. but our culture has changed to judging people and assuming they are guilty or wrong until proven innocent or right. and everyone's amped up and more people carry guns everywhere they go.

years ago, life was easier. everyone was nice. no one was angry. and when we give people the benefit of the doubt, life just works better.

thats just it. its easy to sit back and watch a little video and say what you would or wouldnt do. its different to be in that situation where you truly feel its their life or yours.
once again, act the right way and the small percentage of questionable shootings go way down.
the problem with this 'fight' is because some people want to make it racial instead of finding ways to eliminate all questionable shootings

You might be able to argue that everyone believes that they good, but the fact remains that there are still some evil bastards in this world. The evil ones don't realize that they are evil...in their sick, twisted minds, their murders or rapes or whatever may somehow be justified, but to an objective, normal, caring person...that's still an evil person.

                      When the hell was this?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

                          This is a joke, right?

OK, just for the record - it is illegal for a cop to shoot you just because you ran, argued, disrespected them or didn't totally comply with their commands.

That is murder. That's why that cop in SC who shot the black guy in the back who was running away (on youtube) is gonna be in jail till he's dead. That's why that cop who shot into a car that was backing out of the driveway away from him and killed a 16-year old kid is gonna be in the same position. And that cop who put 16 holes in that kid carrying a knife in Chicago (youtube) as well.

                          You knew all that, right?

Of course threatening the police with weapons can get you shot, did somebody say differently? The others you mention - again, it is murder if the police shoot you just because you
ran, argued, disrespected them or didn't totally comply with their commands. To bring these up to justify police shootings is silly, IMO.
