Gase was also on the hot seat halfway thru the season. People keep talking about Gase like he’s a good HC with a proven track record of success.

Gase needs to worry about all that money they spent on an OL that was pitiful.

personally, I think Gase sucks as a HC and was a bad hire by the Jets.

and I also believe the Jets' OL will be completely rebuilt, starting with them selecting an OT with their first round pick.

I think it’s crazy to hire another coach in the same division who was slightly below average. Imagine if we hired a Freddie Kitchens a year after he was fired from the Browns?

They spent a ton on their OL. Bringing dude out of retirement to play center was a mistake and the OT was cut after he fought with the FO over an injury.

Which is why I think it’s foolish to move on from Bell after one year. It’s a new staff and the team has no identity but they still found ways to win games.

GM says they aren’t shopping Bell. Says they need to upgrade their OL.

Gase says the rumors were overblown and Bell has been a professional.

Jets GM Joe Douglas said Tuesday that Le'Veon Bell isn't being shopped, and that the team hopes Jamal Adams will be a Jet for life.

I thought Bell makes all O-lines look better than they are?

Jets had a whopping 259 total yards.

I do remember after 1 or 2 runs people were trying to say the OL wasn’t that bad... lol.

That was agenda posting at its finest.

In all honesty they were ranked pretty low

Rank em how you want to boys... that was a 7-9 football team that probably squeeks into the playoffs with a healthy Darnold all season.
Theres no agenda with me... other than being glad Bell is gone... and getting a nice chuckle out of the fact that the Jets paid big money for a guy who barely finished inside the top 30 in rushing this year.

we aren’t the one’s ranking them... lol.

if anything, YOU are the one trying to boost them higher based on their record and not on their performance.

our offense ranked pretty low and we still finished .500.

are you seriously suggesting our offense wasn’t bad because of our record?

your previous post suggest otherwise but I think it’s moreso being on a bad team with a new coaching staff than just not being good.

If you read some of the stats about the OL that Pittpete posted you would see the OL’s contact behind the LOS star is the worst in the league. You can’t do good things when you can’t even get to the LOS without being hit.

Guys, we have spent 150 pages trying to figure out if Bell is good enough or failed because of a bad line "but I thought he could succeed behind any line", "but it was first year in a new system", "his own coach didn't even want him", "why hire a loser coach from inside the division, he was set up to fail". Same guys using the same arguments, never changing the others mind. Can't we all just sit back and wait until next season?

After 150 pages I think you know the answer.
