Because this draft is extremely deep in WR talent... and plug and play RBs can and will be had in the mid rounds. I'd be fine with taking a WR in the middle rounds (or two). WR and RB are two positions in which guys can make immediate contributions. We definitely need a TE after losing James. There are additional needs on defense, and I am fine with addressing those in the draft as well.... but I do realize that those guys likely will not have the immediate impact that WRs and RBs will.

That’s not really 33 mill guaranteed. It’s rolling guarantees. The true guaranteed money was only $10.

Trust if it was really 33 mill guaranteed it would’ve been presented as such on day one.

Why does anyone care about this anymore? The only RBs I'm interested in at this point are Conner, Samuels, potential FA RBs for depth, and potential rookie RBs in the draft.

Bell's a Jet now. I didn't really care who the Jets starting RB was yesterday, and their new starting RB today doesn't interest me either.

The AFC North and the AFC East play each other this year, so I'll be a Bell fan when he plays Baltimore, Cincinnati, and Cleveland, plus when he plays New England twice a year as well. Other than that, I couldn't care less about Bell today.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Amen Eddie and Ruth. We should be focused on our current RB group...and finding that gem in the draft that could be our solid 1-B guy.

A person would have to be on acid to think that this was anything but a huge and embarrassing loss for Le'veon Bell. He lost at least $14.5 million and landed on the Jets. It's like every NFLers' nightmare come true.

but but but... Bell made the right choice because.. even though the steelers offered bell nearly 20 million more... only 33 million of it was "rolling guarantees" lol

Yeah. You can’t stop talking about him... lol.

Laughing at a guy who signed for up to 61 mill for 4 years is hilarious.

Wait. So are you suggesting our 5 year for 70 mill didn’t even have incentives added? He could’ve even made more than 70 mill?

Lol.. notice how fans use the highest number for our offer and the lowest number for Bell?

Bell can make up to 61 mill with his contract with incentives.

I'm not suggesting, I'm flat out stating that you are purposely using the wrong number to defend your impossible position that Bell's gamble paid off. He bet $14.5 million on the long shot horse and LOST. Sorry, Magoo.

He just signed with the Jets today. I think the topic is still ripe.
