I guess we really believe this guy will be around for 10 years or so.

I would rather we waited but I don't really have an issue with a late round pick for a punter, kicker or LS. Obviously it's an important position or we would throw any guy in there to do it.

Ummm, a long snapper "highlight" film. Really?

I can't believe I actually watched it to see anything unique.
This is akin to watching highlight of McDonald's best fry maker frying french fries.

Watching long snapper highlights, I've got to quit the football obsession.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

Also logged 3 tackles while in college. Qualifies as a dual threat LS.

Wow, I guess it makes sense but that's still crazy watching LS highlights.

I bet they have stop watched and radar guns to compare speed

                This aint college.
NFL coaches would be wary of his ONE TACKLE A SEASON history and game plan around it.

They almost had to cut Warren after spending a draft pick on a LS, IMO. They'd never have lived it down otherwise. They cut the other LS on their roster last week, so the new guy (Holba) currently has no competition for the job.

We drafted him and we will use him. What's the problem again?

I read the article, and give my hearty thanks to Warren for his contributions over many years.

The injury makes no difference to the team's decision. The Steelers would've cut Warren even if healthy, IMO. No way they were going to keep the veteran after spending a draft pick on a LS.

Now it appears that the job will be handed to Holba without any meaningful competition.

People will say anything to justify their own thoughts. Lol You mean to tell me the injury don't make a difference when Greg said he had to get a second opinion. Lmao
