We did get a kick returning corner...and we signed a kick returning RB who scored a KO TD in a playoff game...

that would have been a much better pick. I also think the TE from Louisville would have been a good pick there. I just don't see a LS in the 6th. It's not like we've NEVER hit a homerun in the 6th before.

I guess the Steelers are just so damn good that they can afford to arrogantly waste draft picks. There are a number of picks I am not thrilled with in this draft, but there is no defense of picking Holba in the 6th round. It is malpractice and bush league.

Warren's been around a looooong time, who knows when another LS rated this high would be available in the next year or two. Let the OTHER teams fight it out on finding a nondrafted FA LS; we grabbed the good one before anyone else could.

And a LS, per se, may not be that hard to find, but one this good is NOT easy to find. He was slated to get drafted in the last couple of rounds (not slated as an FA), by the way.

A bad snap can actually cost a game. You don't want mediocre talent there.

There were 39 long snappers that played last year. Of those, 4 were drafted. You don't need a pick, certainly not a 6th.
