Brown knows when to simulate humping and pumping better than anyone in the league. Gifted touchdown celebrator.
AB's "dancing" penalty was for what exactly?

If the game is still close enough that you have your starting QB in, maybe it's too early to start humpin' and pumpin' ... just sayin' ...Comment

Everyone here does realize that this celebration penalty does not take the TD away and result in a 3rd and 25 instead, right? The only impact is where the ball is kicked off from after the PAT attempt. That's it. Even after lopsided victories, posters need something to whine about (again).Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

Tomlin wants clarity on what Antonio Brown can do when he scores

Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown drew a flag and a fine for his twerking touchdown celebration in the first week of the regular season and he drew another flag in last Sunday night’s win over the Chiefs after a different touchdown dance was deemed excessive by the officials.
The league didn’t have any problem celebrating Brown’s score and celebration on their Twitter account, which may be part of the reason why Steelers coach Mike Tomlin spent some of his Tuesday press conference asking for more information from the league about what Brown can and can’t do.
“We have to get some clarity in terms of what’s legal and what’s not,” Tomlin said, via ESPN.com. “I know he doesn’t want it to be a negative thing. He wants to provide positive energy for us and entertain our fans. But we have to get detailed clarity on what he can and cannot do. You’ve got to acknowledge some guys are followed more closely than others. You saw that last night with [Odell] Beckham. AB is probably one of those guys and he probably needs to respond accordingly.”
Whatever the uncertainty, one sure way for Brown to avoid flags for excessive celebration would be to limit the dancing to his offseason appearances on television shows devoted to the art form. Tomlin added that he’s not “passing judgment” on how the officials do their jobs, but wants to get a better understanding of what the league is looking for when they throw flags.
Taunting and other unsportsmanlike conduct calls have been a point of emphasis early this season with some seeming far more innocuous than others. For example, Brown’s Week One penalty violated the league’s rule against “sexually suggestive” celebrations while Vikings running back Jerrick McKinnon went unpenalized Monday night despite grabbing his crotch after scoring a touchdown. Two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties can put players in position to get ejected for a second offense, although excessive celebration calls are not included under that 2016 rule change.

That penaltiy could give the opposition better field position or allow those guys to return a kick for a TD. A small detail that can influence the outcome of a game. If Brown is being targeted by the refs for excessive celebrations then it needs to stop.Everyone here does realize that this celebration penalty does not take the TD away and result in a 3rd and 25 instead, right? Tomlin sees what I do. The refs are enforcing made-up rules, and they're making them up on the fly.Tomlin wants clarity on what Antonio Brown can do when he scores

If you want to legislate on something, then legislate dammit. Don't make it an episode from a Franz Kafka novel.Comment

Lopsided victory, lopsided loss, or anything in between ... I don't think it's whining to ask a player to avoid penalties. Glad to see Tomlin wanting to do that as well. It seems like the penalties are being meted out unfairly where Steelers players are concerned ("Oh, REALLY!?"), best for AB to lay low till Tomlin gets the NFL to clarify what the actual rules/penalties are, IMO.Everyone here does realize that this celebration penalty does not take the TD away and result in a 3rd and 25 instead, right? "Clarification of Rule 47.3.02, 'Excessive Celebration': Two major pelvic thrusts are acceptable, or one major and two minor thrusts. But three major pelvic thrusts shall be penalized, as shall any combination of major and minor pelvic thrusts that totals four or more. Classification of pelvic thrust intensity (i.e., as major vs. minor) shall not challengable or reviewable, however the total number of thrusts shall be. By rule, Pittsburgh Steelers players shall have one less allowable thrust (major or minor) allowed than other teams."

i find it quite disturbing how many fans support players that violate league rules, drug rules, ped rules, sexual assault, gun laws, domestic violence, racial issues, child abuse and the police/military just because they play sports.
no wonder why this county is going in the sh!ttersteelers = 3 ring circus with tomlin being the head clownComment
