We didnt win "in spite of..." our offense. We won because we had a good defense and an offense that led the leage in big plays. We won because we got leads early in games and rarely gave them up.
It wasnt always pretty but it was effective. Wallace got paid a stupid amount of money "in spite of.." a bad offense? lol..
Then again, you also said we would have won 5SB's in a row with any other OC. Heh...

Lmao, I love how you keep adding ridiculous statements to the question.

I expect great things this year but again, it's a balancing act.
we can have all the stats and rankings but if we don't make plays when we need them the most it will be another frustrating exit from the playoffs.Steelers 27

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

Lets try this. Lets compare Arians seasons.
2007 we rank 9th in scoring Ben has Arians era career high 32 TDs in 15 games. We lose first round playoff scoring 29 offensive points.
2008 we rank 20th in scoring Ben has 17 touchdowns (YES SEVENTEEN) in 16 games win SB while averaging 21 offensive points a game. (we have 1 non-offensive touchdown in EACH of 3 post season games)
2009 we rank 13th in scoring, Ben has 26 touchdowns when we added rookie Wallace who lead the team in TD catches. No playoff.
Please anyone, convince the audience that 2008 was Arians career best offense (better than his CURRENT offense too) based on the criteria people use to compare him to Haley.Last edited by Captain Lemming; 07-01-2016, 11:00 PM.sigpic
