Steelers were 6-3. Ben got hurt and they dropped 2 of the next 3, along with the first game after his return. That was followed by a loss in Dallas where the infallible Ben threw an OT int. The Steelers then lost to the Bengals. Ben threw a pick 6 early and overthrew Wallace late for another pick. I'm sure you'll explain how that was all Haley's fault, but the man that you deify played a pretty big part in the Steelers woes that year.

One time I remember Ben struggling during a game vs the Redskins and once Gary Coleman entered the game we marched right down the field and scored.

Always thought BA received too much criticism when Ben was out there being Ben. There is good Ben and bad Ben and we go how he goes IMO.

what a useless stat. we rested Ben the last week of the 2007 season because our playoff seed was already set.

he has missed more games under Haley due to injury than arians.

i agree tho, as we have seen... no one can protect Ben when he wants to play his brand of football. Aroans let Ben play his game and we had a ton of success. I swear we better win something besides a scoring title soon. People tend to forget that Ben was sacked less in 2011. Ben was maturing under Arians and would have probably tweaked his game regardless of the OC because he is getting older. Ben was wreckless on and off the field but as he got older he learned from his mistakes.

The offense is scoring more and the QB is being sacked less...the reason it hasn't paid off just yet is because our defense is no longer dominant and pulling more than their fair share...someone told me that it's a balancing act...hopefully this year our players can stay healthy and our infusion of young talent on the defensive side can start paying off...

the back to back 16 game seasons stat. thought that was obvious given the sentence after that one.

We also invested heavily in the offensive line after Arians. If we are going to give the defense time for being young we have to be honest and point out how bad the OL was with Arians because we invested so much in our defense.
