So why isn't Gary Russell's TD the difference in the game? If anything, if Russell doesn't score, they kick a FG to go up 6-0 and the defense gives up that same TD on their next drive, the Steelers are then losing 7-6 despite the offense scoring on their first two drives of the game.

But Harrison plays on LeBeau's side of the ball, and that's all people like you care about.

No, I care about what actually happened and not "what might have been"...Russell didn't fumble, Harrison's score created a minimum of a 7 point swing (If not 10 or 14) and Ben and Santonio sealed the deal...

Isn't that exactly what you're doing? You say the decisive points were scored at the end of the second half in that game...I say they were at the end of the first half...you can assume that the second half plays out differently...okay, it does and the Steelers never surrender the lead...the last minute heroics aren't necessary...what decided the game?

no, I'm saying the Harrison play was a great play but it wasn't the play that won the game... if it was, we wouldn't have needed late game heroics.

it helped for sure but it didn't win the game. I could see if AZ came out frazzled and never recovered but they put up 14 in the blink of an eye to get the lead.

A dominant defense didn't win that game. Harrison ignoring his assignment and making a splash play helped us win but we damn sure didn't dominate on defense in that SB.

Even if you take out all of Ben's "meaningless" TDs, that only accounts for about .6 points per game, indicating that the offense still improved.

Because Haley starts games the exact opposite of how Whiz and Arians did: He wants to run the ball, then they don't score, and, they can't protect the overrated defense the way Whiz and Arians did for 8 years. Add to that the complete nonsense like Haley has in his playbook (James Harrison, Mike Adams, and Alexjandro Villiannueva running pass patterns, etc).

Watch the games, not in the bar, and not only once. If you don't have the Sunday ticket and a DVR? You aren't qualified to discuss the ins and outs of this team. Because that means except for ESPN/NBC games? You only watch a game ONCE, the day it's played.

lmao... this is exactly what I'm talking about. They hated the bubble screen even though it averaged 5 or 6 yards under Arians but now they have no problem with it.

Truth is, they hated BA because we are a spoiled bunch. Anytime we reach a SB someone has to take the blame for not going back the next year. Only going to 2 SBs instead of 4? Arians fault.
