Never said to stop complaining...I clearly said it's your own personal choice to either bitch and moan in the midst of a win streak during a playoff run or to just relax and enjoy the ride. It's Christmas Eve, and folks still have their panties in a bunch over a guy who has started every damn game since mid October.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus. -
Exactly! He's started the last 8 games, averaging more than 50 defensive snaps per game...Never said to stop complaining...I clearly said it's your own personal choice to either bitch and moan in the midst of a win streak during a playoff run or to just relax and enjoy the ride. It's Christmas Eve, and folks still have their panties in a bunch over a guy who has started every damn game since mid October.
In that time, he has recorded:
45 tackles
2 sacks
4 passes defended
1 INT (probably the biggest play of his career to date!)
1 Forced Fumble
That's a pretty good 8 game stretch for an ILB...Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.Comment

The team is on a winning streak and has beaten two of the top teams in the AFC in consecutive weeks. They are showing fortitude and adaptability. It seems that complaining is not the best way to use your energy when there are so many positives to discuss, but to each their own I guess.Lol I didn't think you would resort to the whole "stop complaining" argument. That's the one used when you have no valid points...no sustainable arguments. It's weak. This is a message board. We haven't won **** yet this season. We haven't won our own division...yet we shouldn't say a word about a first round draft pick who has problems staying on the field? Maybe you should let Kevin Butler, Vince Williams and Mike Tomlin about your theories. Tell them to stop bitching and moaning as well. Maybe we should create a community where it's a ban-able offense to have a real discussion about the Steelers.
A lot of teams have significant injuries this year to deal with and the Steelers aren't an exception. It seems pretty weak sauce to slam a young guy in only his second NFL season for being hurt.Comment

Oh the irony...Only Mitchell missed practice

So, it seemed like the best use of your energy was to complain about our complaining and to insult people you don't know personally? To critique someones parenting skills is a good use of your energy? See everyone in this thread complaining about complainers is a complainer themselves. It's a bit ironic eh?The team is on a winning streak and has beaten two of the top teams in the AFC in consecutive weeks. They are showing fortitude and adaptability. Second, this discussion was started nearly a month ago when fans, teammates and coaches alike were concerned about Shazier's apparent lack of NFL toughness. The discussion actually started within the organization and leaked out through the media. I don't think many fans believe Shazier isn't a good player. Quite the contrary, most of us love watching him play and believe he could be a star...hence the frustration that started a month ago with a report of Shazier missing more practice time with bumps and bruises.
Personally, I'm very happy to see he is playing even not 100%. That's what he needed to learn...per his own coaches and teammates. So maybe just maybe discussions like these actually were productive. Maybe he heard his teammates and the press and the fans concerns over his "injury prone" label. Its about time.Trolls are people too.Comment

Consider it a public service...it's merely a suggestion that energy expended being concerned over minor perceived deficiencies on this team might better be expended by examining how fortunate it is that we have this team, in spite of all that they've been through this season, that is currently one of two AFC teams (along with NE) who many pundits believe have the greatest likelihood of representing the conference in SB50. In this season, why stress over what you believe we don't have when you can appreciate what we do have?Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
