Shazier Does not Practice

YOU aren't questioning his "want-to", but others are when they suggest that he needs to learn to "play through the pain". What bull. As for fragility, well, then Polamalu was fragile. He had numerous concussions and leg injuries. I guess Bell is fragile too. Oh wait, somebody said he's not injury prone, just "unlucky". Priceless.
Doug Martin of Tampa leads the NFL in rushing, at least until Peterson plays tomorrow. Martin missed a combined 15 games in 2013-2014. Is he fragile?
Then on the previous page we had a real gem from the poster who said that Shazier is staggering to the sidelines nearly every other play. Geez, exaggerate much?Last edited by RobinCole; 12-19-2015, 08:06 PM.Comment

You need to get over trying to make this about me and what I wanted and acknowledge that Jones was a poor choice for 1st Round pick. I know it may kill you to admit that everything I have said about him appears to be coming true but be honest and recognize the facts are he was drafted to be a star pass rusher inheriting the position from Harrison and he is nothing more than a mediocre 3-4 OLB.I hope this is sarcasm, otherwise you look pretty silly as you bring up eifert every chance you get now that he is having a good year
As far as bringing up mosely when talking about shazier, its done because 1) they play the same position, 2) were selected one spot apart, and 3) chosen by our division rival. I cant believe that this is that hard for some folks to grasp. Saying its only done to criticize Tomlin is intellectually non factual and just another example of the tunnel vision a lot of people display here as it relates to the head coach. Hes done a very good job while he's been here, but he isn't above reproach, just like everyone else in the organization
Also hilariously hypocritical the way you excuse shazier for missing time, but piled on Jarvis Jones for the same thing every chance you get. Funny how that works when you like a certain draft pick
Time to admit, likely not, you jumped on his bandwagon and the wheels came off. It would be intellectually non-factual to do otherwise. BTW, with 20/20 hindsight who would you rather have right now Eifert or Jones?"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"Comment

Lol, nothing you say kills me and i have never been on the Jarvis bandwagon at all, and never will be. I've actually agreed with your position on several occasions. I'm merely pointing out the hypocrisy of your attitude as it relates to shazier missing time and Jarvis missing time. I have commented on how tiresome you are because you bring it up at seemingly every opportunity.
Jarvis or Eifert right now? Lean to eifert, but not by as wide a margin as you want everybody to believe. Jarvis isn't a bust, he's just not the player the steelers hoped he would turn into at this point. If he was a 2nd rounder, it would be a decent pick. You have it in for the kid as you are totally invested in being right about him. Isn't that what you say about others when they question other players like shazier? But its all just tweaking noses, so no worriesComment

Out of curiosity, just checked to see who has been listed most often on the injury report (excluding IR & PUP).
Seems James Harrison, Ryan Shazier and Matt Spaeth all have been listed 9 weeks. Of the weeks listed, Shazier was out 4 weeks, Spaeth 3 wks, and Harrison 1 wk.Comment

As we continue to say, Shazier is a difference-maker when he plays. I've said before, he is the Steelers' Sean Lee.I think most posters would love to see Shazier in every game, making these plays. It just hasn't happened for him yet.
Question is, if he gets bigger and stronger, will it take away his best traits?Comment
