Why is this board so ugly after a loss?

Add "Eddie Spaghetti." We disagreed, a lot, but never did we insult or use some of the language and attacks we see now from some of the digital troublemakers who have recently showed up. There is a difference between having strong opinions and arguing for them versus the trash a few people put on here now.
Awww...Ovie and Eddie...they are taking over the Crockett and Tubbs mantle from me and DeVille.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Chadman still watches the games, and occasionally jump in here to see what is being said, but there are certain posters, or Chadman should say certain 'types' of posters in here that make it their personal mission to get over the top of others.

            Why? Don't know.

And Chadman realised Chadman really actually doesn't care. Hence how easy it is to stop posting.

The arguments against the OP here are exactly what Chadman expected- people defending bad behaviour, insults & to some degree attempts to degrade other Steelers fans in front of the other posters, based on this mythical "Steeler fandome".

Big deal. Chadman loves the Steelers as much as the next guy, and when they don't win, Chadman gets upset. But Chadman never feels the need to call out someone based on colour, and Chadman is over trying to make other posters feel like they are wrong for not wanting mass sackings, or everyone agreeing that we have a janitor as our HC, or other stupid rubbish that gets sprouted.

Shame of it is- some of the more vocal idiots actually make valid points, but follow it up with insults or degrading statements towards others that don't see it there way.

THAT, has absolutely ZERO to do with loving the Steelers more than the next guy. That's just people feeling the need to brow beat & degrade others.

If Chadman were a psychologist, Chadman would suggest there's an inferiority complex at play in real life.

Anyway, Chadman thought Chadman would support the OP's post as Chadman thought it was valid. Take care all.
Huh? What? I had to edit this post for Chadman, someone hacked his account. There now my universe is back in order.

Who was that good guy who had the big #7 and would hang out in the standing section of Heinz ... SteelerNation1? He was a good poster. Spyboots too, still active!

I had the good fortune to meet a lot of these guys when my son and I went to a game a few years ago, it was the one where James Harrison decapitated a QB and a receiver, Ben's first back after the Milledgeville injustice maybe? I felt like somehow our visit there was hosted by Ruthless, there was a nice tailgate, met a bunch of good guys like Jigawatts ... standout memory for my son and me ... got a pic from then on a coffee cup on my work desk ... thanks guys!

Yup...that was SN1. He was our host for that tailgate, not me. I just enjoyed it like you did (except when I was losing money at his dice game, of course). SN1 still hangs his sign at games, but now with several thousand new seats beneath the Jumbotron, he has to station himself on one of the circular ramps in the corners of that end zone instead. My wife and I did enjoy taking you and your son to a few of the team-sponsored pregame activities that day as well (where we met Craig Wolfley, if memory serves). That may have been the last time she went out with me to Pittsburgh, since my kids are now old enough that she'd rather I take one of them instead whenever my dad doesn't make the trip out there with me. Good times indeed.

And ... Yes, it was Wolf! It's so cool hearing him on the radio for games, and seeing him on steelers.com shows and being able to say, "I met him!".

Maybe we need to start a, "bitch and complain" thread each week to keep things separate. I like to vent as well after a loss or an ugly win. Why? I'm not sure. Agreed wholeheartedly. I used to post here a lot more too when the board seemed to be more even-handed and informational. It seems in many ways to have had a large element that has come on board that are simply not the kinds of fans that I want to be around- in person or online.

That doesn't mean that I don't like to get the impressions of the knowledgeable fans that are here, but there seems to be a lot less of that these days.
