Debate or discussion would be great. Instead, it's simply the same agenda driven screed repeated in thread after thread, regardless of topic.

From the 2006-2008 seasons, the ONLY two games Ben missed were the appendix, and the meaningless week 17 game in Baltimore where he and others sat out.

He missed one game in 2009, the first "injury related" game he had missed since his SECOND season.

In 2010 he was suspended, nothing to do with football.

In 2011 he missed one game.

Sacks don't tell the story, hits do.

He's still getting hit at an alarming rate.

Start DVR-ing games, don't watch games in a bar where you can be distracted by those around you, and pay attention.
Okay, Crash. In the context of Ben's career, he has played all 16 games for two consecutive years only once in a two year period. That is a fact in any context. You can speculate about what may have happened, would haves, could haves, etc.

But, 32 consecutive games and counting is a fact.
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

That my friend, is a fact.

Only a complete dope, would hold Ben starting a year as a #3 QB, sitting out meaningless games, having his appendix pop, and being suspended, against him as far as questioning his durability.
          Durability, shmurability!

I'm saying that he played 32 games in a row and was sacked at a lower rate then at any time in his career.

All I told John, was that if Ruthless was threatening me with banishment for off topic, then he can't expect me to reply off topic in a thread.

              He then banned me.

              FACT!

That is all on YOU. No one else.

You guys love to take cheapshots at me when I'm not even posting here.

                Real brave guys you are.

Like I said, I welcome debate. Bring it on.

If you guys think this is the "best football" Ben has ever played? You're insulting him.

I would guarantee if you asked Ben, in a one on one setting with no camera's around if he could:

                A) Play three more years, in the offenses he played from years 1-8?

                or

                B) Play six more years, double the time, thus double the paychecks, in Todd Haley's offense?

                He would pick option A.

There is no doubt in my mind.

Because winning drives Ben, but any offense that features 500 WR screens, Will Johnson, and Matt Spaeth? Won't win you a Super Bowl.

The last three years, are proof of that.

A Hall of Fame QB on the verge of leading a dynasty, reduced to being a garbage time stat whore because of an outdated owner's ego.

A damn shame if you ask me.
Lord knows that those championships have nothing to do whatsoever with having the likes of Aaron Smith, Casey Hampton, James Farrior, Larry Foote, Ike Taylor, and Troy Polamalu starting both Super Bowl victories (plus Kimo von Oelhoffen, Joey Porter, Clark Haggans, Deshea Townsend, and Chris Hope in XL and Brett Keisel, LaMarr Woodley, James Harrison, Bryant McFadden, and Ryan Clark in XLIII). How many players from our defense now would start on either of those teams? Maybe Timmons over Foote and Heyward over von Oelhoffen or Keisel? That's it. But the lack of a championship recently has everything to do with Todd Haley as O.C. Yeah, gotcha.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I enjoy being able to have debate about what the team does. I'd rather they don't shut off certain viewpoints, even those I don't happen to agree with.

but half the time it's because people love to pick fights with him.

it's creepy at times but he means well.
