From the 2006-2008 seasons, the ONLY two games Ben missed were the appendix, and the meaningless week 17 game in Baltimore where he and others sat out.
He missed one game in 2009, the first "injury related" game he had missed since his SECOND season.
In 2010 he was suspended, nothing to do with football.
In 2011 he missed one game.
Sacks don't tell the story, hits do.
He's still getting hit at an alarming rate.
Start DVR-ing games, don't watch games in a bar where you can be distracted by those around you, and pay attention.
But, 32 consecutive games and counting is a fact.Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.Comment

That my friend, is a fact.
Only a complete dope, would hold Ben starting a year as a #3 QB, sitting out meaningless games, having his appendix pop, and being suspended, against him as far as questioning his durability.
I'm saying that he played 32 games in a row and was sacked at a lower rate then at any time in his career.Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.Comment

Originally posted by CaptLemmingsLemmingFirst of all, YOU called ME out. You need to start taking responsibility for your words, AND your actions.
Then, you decided to flat out lie, (just like Kaboly did) and give Todd Haley improper credit by creating a phony number in regards to his offense's output.
That is all on YOU. No one else.
You guys love to take cheapshots at me when I'm not even posting here.
Real brave guys you are.
Like I said, I welcome debate. Bring it on.
If you guys think this is the "best football" Ben has ever played? You're insulting him.
I would guarantee if you asked Ben, in a one on one setting with no camera's around if he could:
A) Play three more years, in the offenses he played from years 1-8?
or
B) Play six more years, double the time, thus double the paychecks, in Todd Haley's offense?
He would pick option A.
There is no doubt in my mind.
Because winning drives Ben, but any offense that features 500 WR screens, Will Johnson, and Matt Spaeth? Won't win you a Super Bowl.
The last three years, are proof of that.
A Hall of Fame QB on the verge of leading a dynasty, reduced to being a garbage time stat whore because of an outdated owner's ego.
A damn shame if you ask me.Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment
