It is difficult to characterize Haley's offense as a "garbage time" offense when the Steelers managed to win 11 games and the AFC North....all that with a defense that was less than awesome overall.

If the Steelers had a highly ranked offense but finished 8-8 again (or, God forbid, worse) I could concede the point...but, the fact is that they won 11 games and made the playoffs with Todd Haley

I would say the answer to that is we had a prolific offense last year and things seem to be going well in that department.
That move would make no sense for us at this time.

I'm waiting for the ESPN show featuring Crash, Mark Madden, Skip Bayless, and Stephen A. Smith where all four guys at the same time just continuously spew out their opinions as the absolute truth at a deafening volume, trying to outshout each other for an entire half hour program without stopping to breathe or listen to anyone else's perspectives.

Honestly Crash, and I'm just saying this to put it out there, there's times you come across as extremely negative and confrontational. I don't mind it, but I do see how some people do. I get annoyed when people harp on one thing for months, if not years. Hell, to be honest, I'd like to hear your opinion on SOMETHING other than Ben, Art or Haley.

As I said earlier, I like what Butler is saying. I liked the draft. I would have liked the draft a helluva lot better if they would have drafted Gregory in round 2 and drafted Collins in round 7.

A three wide base offense with Brown? Bryant? And Coates? Good luck trying to stop that.

But, that's not the type of offense that Mr. Haley prefers. So my guess is we'll barely see that formation get any meaningful playing time together.

I think we might see that formation IF Bryant continues to develop and IF Coates isn't as much of a project as we think he is.
I'm one of the few people who like SG, I saw him a bit in the SEC and to be honest, he's going to impress some people.
