no, it's an insult to Deshea.

Yeah, they let K. Lewis go because Cortez was "better than Lewis". Lewis is a top 15 CB in this league, I doubt Cortez would make the top 30.
If I spell a word incorrectly or make a grammar mistake, I apologize. English is not my native language.

You guys act like you know Steeler football, and don't seem to know what you are talking about. Deshea was a nickel Corner for most of his career.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

I don't give a damn if Deshea was the QB... it's a horrible comparison and an insult to Deshea

You know he's bad when they don't throw one time to Gay on the other side of the field. I do think he could be coached up and be serviceable at some point. He is not getting any help from the two lousy safeties and we have had zero pass rush. He's at least in the same frame on the TV on most plays; more than you can say about Taylor last two years.

Yinz are finally getting it and a big told you so. This team sorely misses Ike Taylor. Regardless of his non-INT drawback, the guy could cover better than anyone the Steelers have on the roster right now.

it was dickie who had benched k lewis for the most part of his first 3 years here.

and then the FO's choice to not even offer him a contract (confirmed by beat writer jim wexell)

                  how is that on tomlin?

With part of that decision, probably based on the notion that they had another young CB in the wings (Allen).

Ike was a great Steeler but to use that as an excuse truly shows show $****ty this team really is.

#1 - All teams have major injuries

#2 - Ike isn't that good at this point in his career any way
Tomlin: Let's unleash hell and "mop the floor" with the competition.

Watching Dallas and Seattle, their DBs swipe at the ball when it's close. Our guys, even if they have tight coverage, watch the catch and tackle it, with no play on the ball.

                          That's LeBeau 101.

steelers = 3 ring circus with tomlin being the head clown

Yep Dickey 101. Maybe if he brings REAL PRESSURE then he could play passive on the corners . You cant play passive on all fronts.
