Because he does. He resents the fact that Ben and Plax were close. And Ben doesn't suck up to Ward like Ward thinks he should.
And, we know this how? Ben and Ward seem to always be together on the sideline watching crucial defensive plays or FG attempts or other big moments that don't involve the offense. I don't see a hatred and after all these years it would be more evident on the field if that were the case, IMO.

says you, but his actions don't speak that way and you don't know Hines. You only know Mark Madden.
Do Ben and Burress really keep up? I wonder if Ben visits him in jail regularly. No.

I don't see this magically jealousy from Hines.
Ben has thrown just as many balls to him as Maddox did or whoever else.

      This is fairyland stuff. Sorry

If I were Hines , I'd consider a restraining order.
If I were Hines, he should be careful of how he continues to hold himself and his alleged off the field life compared to Ben to a higher standard.

Because there are PLENTY of stories out there about Hines as well.

All it takes is for one female to talk.

          Or one Crash.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Because Lenny (Crash) say so...how dare you question him.

AggieB...you are spot on with your earlier post.
Some of us try to paint this picture in absolutes...it really just isn't accurate.
I call Crash--Lenny Bruce because he fights to right an absolute injustice in his opinion...until he becomes a caricature and the message is lost.

You know what Crash, the world is an imperfect place...bad things happen to good people all the time. The scales of justice aren't equal. Even if somehow everyone on this site agreed with your pedantic rants...it wouldn't change a freaking thing.

Ben isn't the victim you make him out to be...sure the justice doled out may be arbitrary, incosistent, and sometime seemingly capricious...but if this is some sort of shock to you...what is that stuff you are smoking?

The energy you exhaust for Ben and Hines is really staggering. Are you really a Steeler fan or just someone who likes to drone on hours on end about how life sucks?

I would posit this to you...do you think a fan who likes the Steelers but dislikes Ben for what he has done is a real Steeler fan?

If you say no--then using that logic I would suggest you aren't a real Steeler fan because of your obsessive hatred of Hines Ward.

Go ahead and take snippets out of context to continue your descent into Lenny Bruce-dom. I am sure it will help build your post count.

Ben isn't the victim you make him out to be
Absolutely he is. He's the victim of black players and media demanding his head on a stick, and Goodell gave in to them.

Btw, ESPN, the same media outlet who's black writers and reporters demanded Ben's head on a platter? Has yet to run a story about Shannon Sharpe, or Shaquille O'Neal as of this reply.

You are a laugh riot snippet boy...

it's a black media conspiracy...yeah that makes sense given your Peyton Manning rant in another thread...

Thanks for being consistent...keep the post count going up!

Or are you suggesting that Ben is too dumb to pony up shut up money?

Why don't you answer a question posed to you once in a while....can you be Steeler fan without being a Ben fan?

There has never been a Steeler since I have been a fan (1981) that has epitomized Steeler ball the way Ward has...no not even Bettis.

Ben doesn't need shut up money. The evidence backs his story.

Evidence that media outlets like ESPN ignored.

Read the full context of my point not the snippet that Lenny took...let me reiterate...your Quixotic appraoch to this endeavor is a pointless waste of time.

This has nothing to do with legal justice...you act as though a great wrong has been committed. Honestly, I don't care what has happened...it's over, fair or not.

A great deal of you can't seem to let it go. Too bad because in your tiresome rants you are going to miss a great deal of football discussion to try and prove a irrelevant point. Again, even if every single poster here agrees with you what does it matter.

You know I don't know Ben, I don't care to know Ben. He has abilities to play a game that many of us would die to be able to play. He makes a great deal of money playing a game that many of us play (as long as are bodies allow) for free.

My wife's friend has been battling cancer for 10 years....she has been an inspiration, doing a 200 mile bike ride--while on chemo, adopting and raising a child, being a loving mother, wife and generally a good person. Today she counts her life in weeks...not years.

I guess when you start spouting off about injustices to a 100 million dollar ballplayer...I look at the bigger picture and think relatively speaking he is going to be fine.

Well it's already been too much time wasted on The Church of Poison Mind that some of you belong to...enjoy your misery of trying to prove the pointless.

I think Hines stole Crashes chick at a bar. The hate is personal. Now the Ben argument is over. The weak will always blame everyone but the 2 people involved.

Like brothervad just said. Even if we all agreed what good would it do. Crash is on a mission and probably won't stop talking about this injustice until Ben retires.

I feel weird cause I kinda like Ben and Hines.

Is this a place to have a hate on for one or the other?

                                I don't get it.
If they met Crash and he told them what he'd been saying about each of them, they'd both laugh in his face and walk off.
I think I'll do the same on this thread.
