How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?
I wouldn't fire him because it's bad asset management and his contract rights likely have value.
But I'd examine options to trade. And I'd do the deal if I thought it would allow me to get a guy I thought was going to be a legit franchise QB.
Having someone that has a shot at being the next SB winning QB in Black and Gold is way more important than having an above average coach. We took a shot with KP and Canada. And that didn't work.
If there's no good path to picking one of the top 2ish QBs, then run Pickett back with a new OC and the same HC.

But it only matters what Rooney thinks.
I’ll put you down for ‘I don’t know’

the only vote that matters is Rooney's
I don't think you'll see him force Tomlin to go
I understand that Rooney will make the decision.
I want to know what individuals on here would like to see happen.

There is NO way that drafting another QB is an option. Why take another chance on a QB. I would bring in a FA to compete with Kenny.
I do agree about the possibility of a trade for Tomlin, but I would be surprised if he isn't back next year.

My gut says go, but I?ve always struggled knowing for certain from the outside who deserves credit and who deserves blame/accountability.
Most frustrating is Tomlin has never hired quality coaches and built a viable coaching tree. To me that is the biggest signal Tomlin has always been a subpar coach.
Then on the extreme flip side, we finally get rid of Colbert who I have never been really certain about and we have one of our best drafts with Brod, JPJ, Benton, Herbig and a seemingly decent off season building on the quality of the roster. Some didn?t work out, but no one bats 100 in the draft and FA, but I do sense the roster has improved and is trending in the right direction.
These are the extreme ends of the spectrum for Tomlin and I think he does some things well and other things horrible.
So the question almost comes back to him and what is he willing to do to fix his short comings and change to make the team better. And is he willing and capable of these things?
He still seems like a football junkie which is good. But he also seems like he needs some direction.
The east answer is let?s move on and move forward. The harder answer is let?s work with him to help him fix and overcome the things he is awful at doing.

I don’t recall you criticizing our drafts while Colbert was here.
