We never played any bad defenses in the past 40 games with Canada?

Not with a backup QB that is making his first start. You forgot that part of my quote. They had an awful defense and some guy at QB making his first NFL start. The team we played could not run the ball well either. The confluence of which we never had the joy of playing.

Some of the good college QB's played significant games yesterday. I am digesting that into this fluid thread. Ewers looked really good. He is trending up.

I have a new format I will be using close to draft time, I’ve never seen it anywhere before.

It could really catch on.

And yes, I don’t foresee the Steelers taking a QB before round 4, more than likely Round 5 or below. I do think they will take one in the late rounds.

Well, I for one want to see your " new " format. I know its way early but I think you list will evolve as there is no center going before or when we draft in round one.

We do not need to draft two OT's, but we do need some help at safety. Just a bit of sarcasm.

For the fourth straight week since being busted for cheating, JJ McCarthy fails to pass for 150 yards. Rumors are he's considering coming back, a la Stetson Bennett, a similarly talented QB who was propped up by his roster (and cheating in JJ's case).

Ewers put up pinball numbers, but I think at one point he was 12/12 with 2 or 3 TDs and didn't throw a pass beyond the LOS that wasn't to a guy open by 5-10 yards. A lot of slip and bubble screens, and a couple of plays downfield schemed WIDE open.

Really impressed with their OC and that speed. He was very Purdy-esque, not sure if he can do that on a bad team in the NFL.

dude.. we just played Levis and TN a few weeks ago. I know it was his “second” start but that does nothing for how their D played against us.

The point is even when playing bad defenses are offense struggled and never put up 400 yards.

Canada would’ve called about 45 passes to prove he is smarter than most vs a bad run defense. He was just dumb and arrogant.

Big10 QB play is so bad. I’m still confused how Michigan is #1. They played no one besides Penn State who sucks and Ohio State.

Georgia also had a crappy schedule and should get left out of the playoffs.

Feel bad for FSU but without a QB they aren’t legit.

I think if Michigan gets beat in the playoffs (very likely) and its lopsided he could come back. Its a crowded QB field and JJ is not that dude IMO.
