I can't tolerate much more of this poor product. Both in terms of the Steelers play and the crappy NFL product and rules. Penalty after penalty in last nights game made the game as exciting as watching water polo.

In fact, I was so bored I was channel surfing between hockey games and the football game. This is first time I've done this during any Steelers game ever. Make it stop.

I was the biggest Pickett supporter when we drafted him. I made a huge mistake, I believe.

The wideouts on the team make me angry too. Why does Diontae have to celebrate after every catch? What has he really done that is so great for the last 2 seasons?

Last but not least is Pickens. Love this guys talent but hate his attitude. What a pouting crybaby. Get the f open before you start crying.

I forgot to mention Porter. Great cover guy but man he's the worst tackler ever. Does he ever practice this?

What we are doing isn’t sustainable. And we’ll crash & burn when a team takes all the yardage we give up and punches it in the end zone. Those games we’ll lose. So let’s enjoy what we’ve got right now. But let’s live for today.

The Steelers are like the golfer who scrambles to an 82-85 on public courses and thinks he's OK until he rolls out a 125 at the country club.

You, and a few others, probably hope that is the case, but I see double digit wins

For sure, it's not sustainable. It's infuriating that we see the same crap for several years, and the team does just enough that no big changes are made by ownership. I think we are the luckiest team in the NFL in many ways.

so what should that golfer do? Sell his clubs and become a caddy before he even gets to the country club to play?

You guys kill me with all this balloon popping immediately after a win.

Last year after 8 games we were 2-6, this year we are 5-3. What should we be right now? 6-2, 7-1, 8-0?

I know you don't want to admit it but changes have been made.

                      Canada on the sideline
                      Jones starting
                      JPJ starting
                      Warren getting more touches

I know you want to fire some coaches so we could go undefeated in Kenny's second year but maybe see the growth even if it's not on paper.

I think that we wouldn't pop balloons after a win, if the quality of our performances were not so bad. It's hard too be happy with all the things that are so wrong on the team that have been going on for years. The fanbase has expectations of challenging for the SB each and every year. Maybe that is the problem.

Believe me, I appreciate the changes. Those are solid changes except for Canada. That guy is brutally incompetent.

There is growth on the team but there is so much incompetence in the organization that it is holding us back. That is my problem with the team, I feel.

I read a really good article on booing Canada and how it's turned into a meme.

One fan said "we hated Haley, now we would do anything to get him back" and they also referenced how fans were shouting at BA about a FB at the SUPERBOWL PARADE.. lol

but I know fans want a playoff appearance and a win, so do I.

Thing is, I also realize we are young and Kenny has yet to make plays that we all expected. It's frustrating but his 4th quarter performances are hard to deny. If he can do it in the 4th he can do it in the other 3 quarters as well. I think the more we play our better players (even though they are younger) the more we will see things improve. There will be growing pains though, young players make mistakes but I also believe we are still just getting started with Kenny. It's been 20 games and midway through the season we are in the playoff hunt.

We aren't firing Canada. Fans need to get over it. He won't be retained at the end of the year or he will be demoted unless we have a seriously deep run now that he is on the sidelines. Hell, I think has been demoted since he is no longer upstairs. I'm sure other people seeing the whole field are influencing what is called on the field as well and that might be the biggest reason for a better called game.

but I don't see the incompetence some see. I see a conservative approach which is consistent with our FO over the years.

Starlifter is expressing uncertainty going forward. I have a lot of uncertainty also. I expressed it in another thread.

Based on what we have seen , every logical person should feel uncertain. I like Coach Tomlin. I just think his OC is garbage. I think Kenny may be better off calling his own plays. This is a very important time in his development. I don't think Canada is the right guy to do it. Has Canada developed any QB? I don't know.

Let's take this time off, come out and spank the Packers and most of all put more yards on the stat sheet then them.
