Yep. Never any black QBs on the league before recent.
are you 10 years old ??

Maybe they all should have been given starting jobs even though they sucked.
      that?s your way of thinking.
      amirite ??

          lol
Denying white cornerbacks a fair shake in the NFL is a much bigger concern at the moment.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

We all know where superior athletes fall in recent history. Intelligence boiled down to opportunity. Same can be said for minority candidates to be placed in positions of leadership.

Safe to say it's a work in progress.

Safe to say that here is a group of fans that view athletic or running/passing QB's as however those individuals want to define them.

Not the actual racism that was part of history.. but referencing it or acknowledging it happened is seen as racist because it makes them feel uncomfortable even though they more than likely weren?t the one?s committing those acts.

So mentioning how Black QB?s had a history of unfair treatment in the past is now racist and unfair because they are now getting their money.
this is a pittsburgh steeler football message board

take your bull$hit and find a message board promoting anything black, anything you consider racist, anything you consider unjust and post it there.

no gives a flying Phuck about any of that stuff here.

it was pretty cool seeing some old names come on here at draft time, all the people driven away by non football talk which you bring up often, under how many screen names we've seen from you?

you could’ve ignored my post or this thread altogether but you had to chime in with your usual nonsense.

I think I speak for most of us. Can we stop talking about Lamar Jackson? Baltimore has that turd. He is 1-3 in the playoffs and missed 10 games in the past two years. He is over rated and taking up way too much of their cap space As Steeler fans we should laugh at him, and mocking applaud his 5 year contact.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Problem with that is there are a couple of posters who bring Lamar up in almost every thread to take a shot at another poster.

                    It never ends.

talk about a positive spin. Where we these spins when raven fans themselves were turning on him with his alleged contract demands
We are Steeler fans who are happy to see him get paid. If I was a Ravens fan I'd feel differently.

                        It is not that complicated.

He can be discussed. But it should not be a weekly comment. Some posters here want to see the Raven's QB do well. Go figure. Me, I think he is an over rated QB who has been hurt for the last two years, is a below average passer, and about as smart as the average janitor. He is signed for five years and chokes the life out of the Raven's salary cap. That's perfect from a Steeler fans point of view.

I agree he is overrated by some. Not my cup of tea as a QB.

But I will not question the "smarts" of someone I thought a fool for not having an agent, who just masterfully manipulated the leverage he had over the Ravens into a record shattering deal. His "injuries" (some of which I think he could play through) let them see a Lamar-less team, highlighted his value rather than lessened it as some here thought.

I will suggest that he is MUCH smarter than MOST here gave him credit for.

To imply he is stupid after he orchestrated this deal is to just close your eyes to what we just witnessed.

Yes Joel I absolutely "want to see Lamar do well"....FINANCIALLY.

I hope Burrow makes sure Cincinnati breaks that record too. I'd LOVE for Joe to get rich.
