Has there ever been an NFL game where one team didn't have a QB

I understand the league is evolving before our eyes. Most teams are looking for QB's that can make things happen when protections and coverages break down.

The Stetelers had this with Ben. Ben wasn't as speedy as some of the QB's that play today.

We were just talking about how they should go with hockey rules where a stadium has a backup goalie should all your goalies go down.

There was a game Carolina was playing in Canada and the Zamboni guy came in to play goalie and won.

They shoulda had some guy in the stands that could come in and play for either team should their 4th string QB go down.

yup, that's what made Ben so dangerous during his prime.

It’s kinda crazy seeing a team having their QB running the ball so much when they are up 14 at the end of the 3rd and the other team doesn’t have a healthy QB.

I remember that happening in hockey, really cool story. I think he played goalie in high school or college.

But yeah, not a good thing for the game when one team doesn't even have a QB who can throw the ball.

Don't know how it would work in the NFL when a QB needs to know the specific team play calls.

Just a shame, looking forward to watching a great game and instead get a lopsided bore fest.

Before fans look or try to understand schemes they should look at player execution and mistakes. Injuries play a huge role into a teams success.

Games generally boild down to player execution and mistakes regardless of injuries.

This is why I won't pay for PPV of any sport.

Dude, just go play another Madden game and leave this discussion to the adults.

That just happened in 2020 with the Denver Broncos where they had to play a WR at QB.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

Yeah maybe there should just be a rule where a 3rd string QB that can play needs to be on the gameday roster, just add an extra roster spot for this specific role. Do teams still have practice squads? Just have like a bridge QB for that third spot.

Jealous watching the Niners OL blocking, especially on screen plays.
