I recommend reading Steel City Insider Matt Steel. He breaks it down better than I can. And read or listen to Cam Heyward's interview of Kenny Pickett in which KP says he's excited by watching what SF is doing with Purdy and is hoping they can implement some of it next year. He also mentioned that they have the guys to do it.
Players don't make it into the NFL unless they can play.

After the fact of coaching and playing are different factors.

KP did different things well. Can KP develop into the consistent QB that the Steelers need to win games is the question?

Consistency to play well or at a high level is what generally separates players in NFL. I guess I can say the same for any sport in general.

Where we seem to disagree is that I believe the right system can help a player or players have more success.

Remind me what system did Brady perform in over the years? What system did Bradshaw have? Aiken?

The thing that I learned over the years is that EVERYTHING boils down to how teams or a player performs on game day. Number 1 offense or number 1 defense doesn't matter on game day. Players and teams are coming to win. Do you feel differently?

Bradshaw and Aikman played on loaded teams before free agency went wild. Brady? Short passing, ball-control offense with a defensive genius who would routinely SCHEME to take away the other team's best player. Belichick's scheme shut down the high-powered Bills in the Super Bowl when he was with the Giants.

You're really underselling how much work goes into preparation and planning because you can't see it, I think.

The hoodie is one of the best DCs of our time. Nobody shut down the K-gun until he did it in the SB.

Back to the game here - great D stand after Burrow's INT may have turned this game. 90-yard FG drive, 3-out by Chiefs to start the 2nd, and the Bengals are in great shape here.

If execution is all that matters, why pay coaches?

                Heck, why have coaches?

I don't understand how you don't know that coaching and game-planning make a difference.

We'll have to agree to disagree because if you haven't figured it out by now you probably never will.

Just send the PLAYERS out there to EXECUTE football plays.

KC has done everything but score points. Feels like this game is about to slip away from them.

Huge momentum shift after that stand. Two Chiefs 3 and outs and a Bengals TD later, it's all tied up.

Pat’s gone after Mike Hilton a couple times in coverage today.

I love Hilton, but he’s no Cam Sutton in coverage.

One legged Mahomes is better than most QBs out there. This game wouldn't be as close if he could scramble.

Mahomes on this ankle is playing at an all time great level.
