We run both of those plays.

Have to go the FA route. Let's see if Weidl convinces the room to make a run for a top OL or DL in FA. Imagine signing O Brown and J Hargrave in FA so you can focus on WR or CB in the early portion of the draft.

I'd much rather they go for a couple impact players like that instead of a bunch of average, which has been the MO for years.

I'm the opposite, if the Steelers aren't in it I'll root for the Niners or Cowboys or Pats, maybe the only thing that will roust Rooney out of this current malaise is a threat to the franchise's hallowed history and legacy, which is always used as the excuse for "staying the course".

As for Mahomes what can you say anymore. One leg and still something. Mind you he's going to be limited next week which gives either opponent a bigger chance for sure.
AFC has too many QBs and offensive coaches for Tomlin's "take the air out of the ball" to seriously compete for a Super Bowl.

Hurts has progressed as well. A QB that can pass and mixes in a couple of runs to keep the defense honest. Looking forward to seeing a possible 49ers/ Eagles match up.

Hurts ran 9 times today and led all QBs in rushing yards last year.

I thought you said running QBs don't win jack?

trading away Kadarius Toney to the Chiefs certainly didn't help.

Well, it’s not they don’t know what they need going forward.
